Falling through the cracks.
Failing to see the light.
Fooling only myself.
A tercet is composed of three lines of poetry, forming a stanza or a complete poem.
left, right, left, right
dark, light, dark, light
steppings upon a chessboard game
down, up, down, up
nope, yup, nope, yup
see-saws and the children at play
front, back, front, back
white, black, white, black
shaping creation through dancing
off, on, off, on
lose, won, lose, won
switches between your thoughts and mine
here, there, here, there
round, square, round, square
positions through quantum physics
right, wrong, right, wrong
weak, strong, weak, strong
designated fate or free will
Six poems with internal and external rhyme with last line describing event of first two lines.

Flush out the cooties; lewd acts for booties
Blow out the boogers; sexual poopers
Predators display; dirty old men gay
Vile baddies affair; congressional lair
Shaytanic obsessed; senators possessed
American’s blood; presidential mud
Flaming the vile moles; political holes
Bringing public shame and the blaming game
Fined with guilty plea. Resign unto me!
Another dark, political poem (of nine lines with ten syllables and internal rhymes) regarding the recent news about Senator Larry Craig of Idaho. There are many more horror stories similar to this one that goes unnoticed by the media.

Open wide and please say, ‘Ah’!
Are you agents for our ‘Ra’?
Laugh out loud to joker, ‘Ha’!
Lost, safe, secret, open mold
Must we do as you are told?
Public ‘tear-roar’ getting old
End of day by midnight way
Pandora’s box gone astray
Simply chase the dead guard, grey
Three poems of three-lined stanzas with seven syllables in monorhyme.

Looking for unethical ways?
Truthful tell by working hard plays
Noisy words of ‘do or dare’ maze
Scrying well like crystal ball gaze
Angled swords of biblical blaze
Tasty roar of lioness glaze
Two ‘lip-smacking’ poems of three-lined stanzas with eight syllables in monorhyme.

Hi! Small baby fly
Buzzing my head like a spy
Are you an ally?
A very tiny poem in free-verse.
Author’s note: The little booger was looking at me from my computer monitor and buzzing around near the vanity mirror later on that evening.

Bye bye budge of big tummy
Around noontime of screaming pain
Silence of white paper towel shroud
‘Paw’ digs soil one feet deep
Yellow leather glove
Green spade shovel
Under the sun out back
Prayers saying, winds blowing
Tears flowings, camera taking
For-give my death thoughts unending
Into re-incarnation or bird heaven
Take with you our thanks for being here
awhile…
A tearful poem in free-verse.

Rain Tuesday morning
Fluffy clouds waxing warning
Afternoon with sylphs horning
Clear Wednesday morning
Crisp color of blue corning
Talk of tearing eyed mourning
Nice Thursday morning
Sylphs dancing with wispy wing
Cold feeling season this spring
Three poems in 5-7-7 syllables and in monorhyme.

20070419:
Long whales clouds of purple, blue and gray
Marching together by west side bay
Bell and saucer shape with bluish say
Clustering clouds form mountainous scene
Stretching above the east side hills green
After a gray morn to us unseen
20070418:
White fluffiness for the past few days
Puff, fluffy clouds with gray sleepy maze
Lightest blue skies with some sunshine rays
One big puffy ball right overhead
After one morning’s cold and gray spread
Cloud puffs snoozing behind hills ahead
20070417:
Freezing and chilling my long black hair
Spilling and whipping not meant to scare
After dinner dance with ‘Mar’ beware
20070416:
Can’t remember if sunny or rain
Tax time and another Monday chain
In my realm of the boring mundane
Six poems in nine syllables in monorhyme.

He arrives upon a donkey
Waving palm trees of victory
For freedom
Eli, lama sabachthani
Upon the Skull within the three
His sad mom
Arise for all eternity
Standing among the Infinity
All is calm
Three poems in 8-8-4 syllables and with aab pattern.

How dare you ‘fund’-a-‘mentalist’!
To behead us female writers!
Must we send the fire fighters?
Your barbarian ways have me pissed.
Your ‘ragged’ minds are old and blind
and leave your monkey shines behind!
The Truth is not in naming names.
Your ‘fat-was’ not meant to be here.
You are NOT ALLOWED to cause fear!
On behalf of our Mother Earth,
please allow Her voice to be heard.
This is my message from HIS word.
A poem of four, three-lined stanzas of abb, cdd, eff, ghh pattern.

She fell in the A.D. – one nine six eight
to observe a slow life of an unknown fate –
whose hot-headed nature is one of her trait.
With her bad left knee and her first name’s sakes
she verbalizes whenever it aches
but hold backs her tears whatever it takes.
A soul used to feel trapped inside this lab.
The soul does live while riding this cab.
The veil of her soul is one that keeps tab.
The five lost balls do not normally lie.
The eye of god is like her beloved secret spy.
He knows everything about this lone fly.
A poem of four, three-lined stanzas with ten syllables in monorhyme pattern.
