‘Puck, puck, puck’: doo dis, doo dat!
    Hindi ako umakyat
    Ang la mesa — magbigat!
    Dali! Dali! sa lahat…

I cannot seem to lift this up.
This here table is so big!
    Hurry! Hurry! To everything…

    Nag-ta-go! A-lam-ko-na!
    O-ber-der! A-lam-ko-na!
    Sa-li-kod! A-lam-ko-na!
    Ha-nap-in! A-lam-ko-na!

    Literal translation:
    It’s hiding! I know!
    Over there! I know!
    In the back! I know!
    Find it! I know!

Second attempt at tanaga- a Filipino poetry of four-lined stanza, with seven syllables in monorhyme.

Author’s note: Used spelling convention of the Japanese language due to not knowing how well to spell words in the Filipino language. A back and forth dialogue between Paw and Maw, respectively, about locating a missing bottle of medication.

    Shinta, huwag umiyak.
    Magtiwala ka sa akin.
    Himura, pasensiya ka.
    Magsaya tayong lahat!

    Translated:
    Shinta, please don’t cry.
    Trust in me.
    Himura, please be patient.
    Let’s be happy!
