I checked the email of my other Yahoo! account and found another spam. The content describes how someone has a business offer to secure more money that doesn’t make sense to me. My other co-worker received a similar email, which he deleted instead.

The unusual nature of the email has showed two words: ‘nefarious’ and ‘Bill.’ The only time I used the word ‘nefarious’ is through this Yahoo! account via my blogs. ‘Bill’ is a name entered through a list of direct marketing association. I happened to have received a catalog from a company in Nebraska and with my last name entered as ‘Bill’ last Friday.

Now, I’ll end up writing a letter again to remove this ‘Bill’ from the list because I don’t want to have unnecessary paper wasted on printed materials received through regular mail. I don’t mind reading this surprising magazine with all the pretty pictures showing Halloween products.

What I do not like is the attempt to utilize the internet technology to spy on my privacy and harm my piece of mind with emails or chatting messages, which could be reported to the authorities. The only problem is that these same senders of these ‘nefarious’ activities may be authorities. But that is no concern of mine if they play this stupid game of whose side one person may belong.

I have not checked my emails or chatting messages via this Yahoo! profile since Wednesday, 8-09-2006 due to similar incidences with a ‘nefarious’ ‘Bill.’ I hope everyone learns to push buttons: ‘Spam’ for email messages or ‘Report as abuse’ for chatting messages.
