  • 20060905-Hey! Hoy!

Hey! Look here, people! I am supposed to report what happened to my simple world in twenty-four (24) hours. So far, nothing out of the ordinary occurred today except working hard to ‘free’ myself from a pile of mounting debt, which is a mostly unpaid balance from six (6) credit cards.

My ‘freedom’ has been compromised because I, like so many others, continue to serve the employers in hopes of climbing up the ladder and towards the glass ceiling of opportunity. I thought being one’s own boss and retiring early are living the dreams of this land. I am wrong.

Celebrities, for example, who seem successful enough, should have good retirement. But I see that they work those dreaded commercials. I think they cannot afford to maintain their debt at a higher ‘brow’ level. That’s too bad.

I see so many people struggling to keep a roof over their heads with each paycheck. These same people are ‘free’ to escape their troubles by drinking alcohol and doing drugs. Both mechanisms do the body and mind harm and reduce the ability to ward off bad things in life.

Here is another example of a bad thing – the ‘freedom’ of certain wealthy ‘investigators’, for creative sake, to scare the willies out of me by infiltrating my Yahoo! account(s). As a result, I cannot send chatting messages ‘freely’ without being fearful. Mass-moles!

Today, I have watched several speeches made by important people on televised cable programming regarding our national ‘security.’ I hope these important people will become more aware and find some accountability for whomever or whatever started these scare tactics.

Where is the ‘security’ provided by our nation for those who do not know the dangers of these predatory parasites lurking on the internet? Huh? Huh? And who will protect us adults from strangers or our children from our own citizens? These questions continue to plague my beautiful mind.

Did you know the cycle of debt makes me feel insecure? I would rather be rich and miserable than poor and miserable. I have nowhere to turn except to work hard until this job kills me! This is my personal war – to bear my own cross.

I am not particularly interested in wars from other lands as produced by the mass media. I believe the real wars are created to instill fear into the minds of people and, thus, breaking the hearts of family members lost to war. Get it?

In this case, I feel neither free nor secure knowing that some are capable of scaring us this way, which is not fair. Once again, we each have a responsibility to march out there and stop the nonsense taking place right beneath our noses! Never mind!

  • 20060902-New Homes

Briefly, this is my opinion regarding illegal immigrants. I feel we should welcome anyone willing to work hard for the rest of their lives like the rest of us American citizens. But I also feel there is no such thing as a ‘free ride’ or ‘free lunch’ on the backs of us taxpayers either!

By using an example from a televised cable program, I do not like the idea of strangers crashing in on my property for free. Maybe they could stay for awhile to get on their feet but to stay permanently without the re-payment of debt for being allowed to use my toilet or towels while staying is another issue.

Using the sanctuary of any religious organization as a means to avoid the man-made laws of the land is not fair for those who entered America legally AND the hard way. Some have hidden many years from the law only to be returned back to their home lands. This is a sad fact but true.

The bottom line is: Living in America has always been hard work and does not always mean a better life. Take a look at how the elders are being treated in the nursing homes or how the abandoned children are left alone in the streets. There is always the price of living ANYWHERE. Wake up, people!

  • 20060604-Consider Kindness

Tonight, I like to discuss the likes of airheads that my bio-units have encountered today. The airheads I’d like to present are mostly the kinds that show-off in spite of their background. These people like to present themselves as being inconsiderate as well.

The first example is an old lady by the name of ‘Any Season’. She is some seventy-five years old and a former co-worker of Maw. ‘Any Season’ has called my bio-units this morning that she had called the paramedics. My bio-units had to stop their breakfast and I saw Paws cup of warm milk mysteriously sitting inside the refrigerator.

Upon my bio-units’ arrival over at her house, the paramedics whispered to my bio-units that the old lady’s blood pressure was normal. The old lady has a crazed habit of taking her BP frequently everday when her sugar level of over 200 is, in my opinion, of higher importance.

So my ignorant bio-units offered to drive the old lady to a local store so she could buy a new BP apparatus. Maw caught the con artist earlier that she didn’t replace the batteries when originally inquired. Maybe the machine was still accurate but was thrown away to be sure.

From 09:00AM to 04:30PM, Maw had the opportunity to tell her stories of struggling about the past and how she came to America by working hard and without the help of friends or relatives. The old lady refused to leave our house until the son got back from work.

Now it seems that the old lady had a son and we had wondered why the son was not first at the scene to assist his own mother. Our speculation is the old lady didn’t want the son to take time off because that would mean less pay. Another is that her son is not willing to be there at 02:00PM when the old lady called him.

After two free meals (of breakfast and lunch) were offered by my ignorant bio-units and after several free pickings of an Asian pear fruit from our tree growing in the backyard, the old lady left. Maw came upstairs to complain about the long stay of ‘Any Season’ and promptly slept on my bed in exhaustion as I cleaned all three rooms upstairs.

The second example is Brat who could not pick up his mail and other items leftover from the house; since he lives two minutes away. I called him this evening and he claimed he would out for an evening walk. I offered to drop off his stuff to his house but he would pick up tomorrow.

He then spoke to Maw. Brats plan was to stop by our house during lunchtime. Maw said he could warm up his own food for lunch because Paw and she would be out walking around the mall. I certainly don’t have time to visit him during lunchtime.

The third example is Maws former co-worker by the name of ‘Liar Lunatic’. This person called Maw about a televised program showing watered down medicine. Then the gossips about an airhead by the name of ‘Anger-Sin’ or ‘Hell-Lie’ went on.

This forth example of ‘Hell-Lie’ tends to over exaggerate her status of being wealthy to her stupid friends who would believe her in the first place. They do no know it’s the dead man’s money. If she were indeed wealthy, she wouldn’t be working three days of the week or asking the same stupid friends for free rides instead of the affordable taxi cabs.

This con artist has operated like this all her life of wanting to be on top. The whole town back in the Philippines knows she is not that good looking either. Her attitude is not nice and too over bearing that my dead uncle couldn’t defend himself or his four children from this highly tempered person.

Maw challenged this mouth piece to the test the airhead. ‘Liar Lunatic’ and ‘Hell-Lie’ are buddies since their daughters by the name of ‘Sin-Die Lunatic’ and ‘Anal-Sin’ are friends, respectively. ‘Hell-Lie’ has been asking ‘Liar Lunatic’ for free rides and that’s how the old hag gets around town, by being nice.

This airhead bragged about a two-week cruise and brought two luggages full of formal gowns to wear each day. So ‘Liar Lunatic’, who would believe this person, doesn’t have a clue why ‘Hell-Lie’ has been being so nice recently. The known fact is the other drivers are running away from the airhead.

I have nothing against people who lack some rather descent consideration that my bio-units have only kindness to show to people who have, in turn, taught my bio-units that inconsiderate personalities exist in some people. My bio-units will have learned to avoid the folks who take advantage of their ignorance as well, going forward.

I will express, however, that some Filipino that come to America become totally spoiled once they experience the great abundance of spending for food and clothings. It’s great that sponsors like us have allowed their likes the opportunity to know the great joy of being free.

Their being free to believe they are rich and act like they are somebody saddens us because they forgot to look back and remember they once came from poor backgrounds. This has happened to most of my relatives who come to American, by the way.

The American-born children do not seem to act like they are rich, I believe. I know because I am born and raised on American soil and as fine Christian brethren. This is because I’ve earned my pennies the hard way, I reckon.

My bio-units worked hard to be kind to people in need. They learned that some have not considered being kind in return and only take advantage of any opportunity to get sympathy, a free lunch or a free ride, by being nice.

  • 20060601-Saw Sausage

A sausage is a meaty, edible treat found in a small can; while a saw is a tool with serrated edges like a mountain range. The imagery of these objects not only reminds me of my surnames but of a carrot-and-stick approach of today’s meeting regarding a particular program by one country.

History tells us that the effects of nuclear activities are very damaging to the planet and its inhabitants. Yet the powerful nations won’t stop using this advanced technology. And now these same nations expect the emerging ones to give up their efforts on this form of energy.

Any meeting that does not add more fuel to the fire of extremes has succeeded. And I have yet to observe anything positive resulting from today’s meeting. My expectation is for both sides of the mess to resolve their differences.

My primary concern is the elimination of the proverbial wool, which is fear. The fear of waging war; of utilizing nuclear arms or of losing power to the general populace of awakening people are not to be rewarded. Rewarding bad behavior is nonsense and does not advance the world in this manner.

A better reward is actually utilizing renewable forms of energy on a global scale. I’m sure there would be jobs everywhere for everyone and no one could get hurt from refueling their vehicles with water, for example. The air, soil and water would be much cleaner without the stains of oil or radiation.

Another example is for everyone to stop eating anything which lives or moves. And I mean all plants and animals. I could image having dinner by ingesting honey flavored pills and still feel full. That would free up any contracts between species of having to eat each other to survive.

As I digress, pooping would be less difficult and time spent on the toilet would be reduced. There would be no more laxatives as a result. The sewers, the rivers and the great ocean would be in better condition too.

People should know by now that anything could be easily destroyed in an instance. A building could come crashing down with demolition, a car could be totaled in an accident and a relationship could end from misunderstanding.

What took many years for the ancient forests (with its little owls inhabiting therein) to grow very tall could be destroyed in minutes by these computer controlled tools of destruction. The recovery is slow to the ecosystem.

So we all could assuage the insecurity of each other with tasty morsels of sausages or conquer and divide ourselves as each other’s enemy with the almighty saw, such as by admitting that you are right and I am wrong.

  • 20060510-Driver’s Heat

Why do drivers take the opportunity to pollute the environment with their gas guzzlers and with their modified noise makers? I am referring to the ones driving up and down my road. I could profile certain drivers and point out to my kinds as being the primary culprit of these recently activities.

I think they have too much pride in upgrading their cars. And the fact that the weather has been getting warmer should not allow these high school mentalities to compromise the safety of our public roads. There has been more pedestrians and bicyclist enjoying the warm evening outdoors too.

Teenage drivers should slow down and be more careful since the statistics for accidents are mostly in this demographic. Elders should also learn to speed up and take annual tests to make sure they are not endangering our streets. Other drivers with problems should stay home.

I expect more drivers to be responsible in the upcoming summer season and take driving more leisurely; enjoy the scenery; and breathe the fresh air instead of speeding down the road as if they have to use the restroom to perform the ‘number two’. Speeding should be done in an emergency and by emergency vehicles only.

There is absolutely no reason to waste gas by speeding in modified cars either. If we citizens were to be more responsible, we could stop using gas and oil and switch to ethanol, for example. The country of Brazil is a good example where ethanol is used for vehicles.

Citizens could further be responsible by making sure the neighborhoods are kept clean and by keeping watch on each other’s property. I could make the issue of safety and security the main reasons for placing cameras along my road.

For example, a mayor of my city commended with a certificate to a person, who is close and dear to me and who helped to implement the stop signs in our neighborhood. Any one person could make improvements when the cause is justified.

I hate people being profiled in this manner but people coming into this country need to learn to stop taking too much advantage of the opportunities to have expensive houses, well cooked meals and, of course, those fast cars, especially the very pretty ones that really should belong in the museum.

Drivers in the heat of anger, passion or pride should take extra steps to reduce their energy level a bit to avoid injuring or hurting people on the road. The warm summer days should be more enjoyable and not more accident prone.

Once again, I encourage my fellow fast drivers to take it easy on the lead foot; turn off the mind numbing programs and hypnotic music from the airwaves of their radios; and turn up the air conditioners to cool off anything negative that should be left behind.

  • 20060501-May Day

Today is ‘May Day’, which is a nice way to start the first day of a month. I see on the news several worldwide rallies and protests for hard workers, who want to make their lives more productive and easier. I hope that the employers could afford all the benefits that should make their employees happier.

The phrase ‘May Day’ reminds me of distress messages being transmitted from pilots. I do not believe in co-incidences but maybe the workers protesting worldwide today signals yet another attempt to divert us from the real help.

The real help should be for the newborn babies that experience the effects of DU, which is depleted uranium. The horrendous results show the infants looking like little monsters. Their eyes are red in color, their skins are peeled off and sometimes there are parts missing, added or enhanced.

Humans are not monsters and that is the truth. Humans are not meant to be bred; to work or to be treated like animals. Humans are divine in spirit and have yet to share the beauty of good.

I notice that the media tends to emphasize more on the events of today’s working class than on the events of the warring nations. War is by far more detrimental to both the environment of our planet and the psyche of our people, especially to both the working soldiers and the general public.

Jobs for workers are everywhere and there is no way anyone could enjoy working when there is radiation in the air, soil and water. People coming out of wars may live with sustained and lifelong injuries to the body and with PTSD, which post traumatic stress disorder, to the mind.

Immigrants who work across the borders should feel privileged to take their hard earned pennies back home to help their families and to build their communities. I do not appreciate that some groups would make a big deal by not working if they are legal or not.

By the way, there are legal citizens that need jobs while working under the watchful eyes of the government here. I do not see the same folks making too much noise in public for their part of living the dream. Basic dreams should be to survive and enjoy what little is earned.

I would prefer the popularity of May Day that once allowed the Industrial Workers to celebrate the socio-economic achievements of the working class be celebrated like the spring festivities of fertility. I am referring to the Maypole where dancers would encircle with decorations of streamers and flowers.

People should remember springtime and appreciate being alive for once and having at least a descent job to feed the family instead of complaining about better treatment by employers. My co-workers were starving and angry this morning because restaurants were closed.

People should remember that many have suffered as a result to make any improvements and that is where we need to work together to find the solutions.

  • 20060419-Consider Cremation

Tonight will be the first viewing of two for that relative. I do not understand why people would spend the time to sit in a roomful of strangers. I personally do no feel comfortable sitting and not speaking my mind besides mourning. I expect people to talk about issues not related to anything special and maybe mostly about the dead.

There is really nothing to say during the viewing except a few words during the eulogy. To mention the good that the person has done in their past is always good to hear. But the few, who remember the true nature of a person’s misdeeds, try to forgive and forget (if possible) now that the person passed on.

There is a slight chance that some people attending do not know the dead well enough to care and visit in the first place. That happens to be me because I do not like to seeing the form lying in the coffin and not moving. The person is no longer alive and the efforts to take time off from work and to drive over to the funeral home are stressful activities.

Arranging the viewing and funeral services is already stressful enough for the people overseeing this hard work. No one will ever know where the bodies will end up after the funeral homes cease to exist. Funeral homes are not homes but business entities out to make money. Some people do not have money and cannot afford a proper burial.

I would encourage people to get cremated because it saves money. I do not understand why people would spend their hard earned pennies to get buried especially if there is no one to visit the grave. The dead cannot enjoy money and I believe the deceased do not care how their former bodies are left.

Enjoying the money would be best spent by passing on the remainder to the beneficiaries, who are alive. This saves beloved visitors from experiencing the pain of viewing and burying the deceased. Burials and cremations should not be dragged on too long and twenty-four hours should be all it takes to send the person to eternal rest.

Besides, burials take up too much land space and make the neighborhood creepy with all those headstones popping up from the landscape. This does not make the aesthetics of the land value any better. I believe the aura of the graves need much clearing because of peoples’ sad emotions that may linger at the sites as new arrivals clutter up the surfaces.

Cremation allows the form to return to its basic elements, which is mostly carbon based. I wish only to mention that we are good as fertilizer and the soil of Mother Earth would welcome us this way. A burial at sea is also another noble image. This seems like another profitable venue for those who are still stuck in the three dimensional illusion of making money.

Personally, I prefer cremation and possibly both on earth and at sea. Unfortunately, my family and relatives might disapprove since we ‘Cat Hole Licks’ prefer burials over cremation. I still do not fully understand my religion. I may have to put this request into writing or disappear so that no one would know my whereabouts.

  • 20060312-Mother Earth

My dream worlds are many and even had one of my vivid dreams of Kiev in Mother Russia. I do not remember much from the dream itself but I’ve heard a few minutes ago on a local publicly supported station on cable the most moving and beautiful song ever, Russian National Anthem. The singer is full of pride as he sings in front of the Red Square in Moscow. And the event for him is similar in pride to an American singing in front of the White House. I had goose flesh from hearing the presentation tonight and the singer is quite handsome too.

I enjoyed other public televised presentations like ballets, operas, symphonies and documentaries of all kinds. Nothing could compare to the talents of solo artists that play in concert halls in front of audience or outside near historical landmarks. Some productions present the cultural backgrounds of people and history while the songs are playing in the background.

The solo performances of guitarists and violinists accompanied by orchestrations and singers in the background have gained my interest over the years. I grew up with the sounds of music from playing the piano at home and from listening to the soothing sounds of guitars and violins. The stringed instruments are more familiar and relaxing to me.

Singing is by far the most versatile instrument any human could have. We could sing alone in the shower or together in a choir. One could sing softly of romantic preludes or loudly of racial prejudices. The voice of one person could sing praises of glory for overcoming social injustice or mourn loses in honor of fighting for freedom. The voice of unified people is powerful and calms the savage beasts that promote war, famine, disease and death.

Now that the Cold War is over between these two great and powerful nations, I feel the connection of spirit through the love of song, dance and cultural ideals being shared across different parts of the world. The cultural presentation tonight has inspired this writer to know that we the people on this earth have learned of each other’s hopes for a better future.

Mother Earth has come a long way too of uniting everyone no matter where they live. There is only one world and the talent of each individual from each country has but to bring these hearts together through music and arts. My personal hope is to learn from other countries that have much to offer in peace.

  • 20060225-Speakest Thou

Typing out blogs has been very rewarding for me thus far. I couldn’t even image how much karma I’ve have overcome over the years of being the strong silent type, a trait that I’ve might have inherited from Paw.

And I am definitely not like Maw, who happens to be quite a hot-headed, brow-beating and yet loving and caring individual who still doesn’t understand herself why others don’t play to her expectations. I think we should fear and learn from older women.

Never speaking much, keeping to oneself in quite solitude, avoiding noise and crowds, leaving the team work to others, I’ve come to realize that communication is important to me.

This is not so much as to expose every bit of what would seem a drivel or ongoing mind talk; but I’d like to share a more personal expression of what one soul, one person could contribute to the public eye without fear of scrutiny or retribution for being me.

Is this too much emphasis on ego? Yes! And, I’m much more than that girlfriend. Just wait and see (with two finger snaps in the air)!

People talk too much-blah, blah and blah. I know I type too much-tic, tic and tic. Let’s just eliminate anything that depends on electrical energy and find out what would happen.

No more electronic devices to power the words of the disinformation or the blabbering of ministries to confuse the already controlled populace. No more rice-rocket cars, gorilla-bar cycles or lion-roaring planes to ride on my already sensitive nerves. No more waving or consuming processed food stuff.

We would actually learn to farm organically and honor live stock to feed smaller communities. People would actually talk, sing and commune with nature outdoors more often instead of indoors in front of the computer or television the whole day.

If you live in the city or even suburbs, like myself, the hustle and bustle of everyday life here seem always busy compared to the more wide open spaces of the countryside. The sensation is indeed quite profound and I remember being able to tune into the earth much better. A total blackout in the suburbs is almost as close as being in the countryside. There is no buzz in the air, only calm.

Is this all I have to say? Not really, for today is another nice weather and our fruit trees out back are starting to sprout their first blooms. I’ve taken a few more pictures and uploaded into this profile.

The times have indeed changed and we all benefited from technological advancements to make our live easier. Without electrical energy to power this computer and my camera, blogging would not be possible for me. The time would be spent pretty much doing nothing but eating and sleeping.

In addition, there is the happiness of talking to my parakeets. I think I’ll talk to my parakeets and give them a bath in the backyard. They might have something important to say-tweet, chirp and peep [translated as: We love you].
