Prayer for the United States God our Father, Giver of life, we entrust the United States of America to Your loving care. You are the rock on which this nation was founded. You alone are the true source of our cherished rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Reclaim this land for Your glory and dwell among Your people. Send Your Spirit to touch the hearts of our nation’s leaders. Open their minds to the great worth of human life and the responsibilities that accompany human freedom. Remind Your people that true happiness is rooted in seeking and doing Your will.

I’m still scanning and archiving Dad’s automobile files and saw Stephen’s business card with some of Dad’s notes in the back of the event. Yup.

While reading the Biblical passages, I had imagined a scenario for the Boss and his Mom or anyone who uses politics/relatives for their own agenda over moi:
- Dummies: What is heaven like?
- Dreamer: When was the last time you looked up at/set your gaze towards the skies? And what did you see?
- Dummies: I see the blue skies. Sometimes clouds, birds, objects.
- Dreamer: Now go forth.
Notes: Yeah, so that means go outdoors and don’t rely on indoor activities, such as church, for your “stairways to heaven” (or as Zen joked to be two Sundays ago after I hummed the rock tune during choir rehearsal), “escalator to heaven”. Are y’all listening? No? Fine, then. Y’all can die, too. Do whatever you want! You are on your own!

1748, recalled what the Boss said during that same choir rehearsal probably two weeks ago or so: “I am the way and salvation.” I remembered the word “salvation” but was too distracted to understand in context what he said after he climbed up the stool and demonstrated how guys (singing Russian) from another gig breathed/sang from their diaphragms correctly when he placed his hands/palms downward in front of his, err, manhood. It appears that our dais is too low for him and is scientifically proven that singers follow better when the full form/body of the conductor can be seen. He may wish to get a higher dais.
