  • Her flowers…

    image

Maw has placed her birthday flowers at the sacred space at our home. Hopefully, the Mother will let the boy know Lindsey is “bastos”. She was “bastos” to my cousins Noah and the Shill when they were presenting their businesses for wedding events: “You go talk to him. I have nothing to do with the decisions.”

She was “bastos” to her in-laws prior to dating and many times to date. She was “bastos” to me during the wedding, yanking her wedding dress my hands; by claiming my wedding gift from Macy’s came from one of her sister; by inviting MOST on her side with just the three of us fuming with rage!

Only Mother has blessed her with cancer and childlessness. Brouhaha!

  • 20110918-Completing Chores

After breakfast and at 9:00am, I couldn’t help it: I had to clean out the garage. Maw was about to prepare some garlic for her cooking when she joined me in sweeping up the dust and spider webs from the garage. Of course, Paw first told me to back out the MB E430; so I could work better in a wider area. He insisted to keep the “fake” wooden cabinet in place. I needed to fulfill my dream — to move it!

We rearranged the area so that the passenger side to this car is more spacious. I had to SLOWLY unscrew four bolts of the “fake” cabinet from the sheet rock and move it a few inches to the right. Paw helped to screw two of the four for me. Maw and Paw vacuumed and wiped down a brown-colored, aluminum shelf of shoes! The make-shift curtain has been washed and ironed for re-installation.

As per my notes on 11:44am prior to going to the Goodwill donation station, we donated: One Bissell vacuum cleaner (Proheat, DirtLifter, PowerBrush, 12 amp motor); one Hoover vacuum cleaner(Supreme Patented WindTunnel Technology, 12 amp motor); one Everlast black-colored, punching bag; two exercise board (one black with padded leather and one rocker for the feet); one LONG pad for a lounge, lawn chair; and one bag of old, worn out shoes — some are from Payless Shoe Stores).

With items donated, Paw and I picked up Maw’s medication from CVS/Pharmacy and then headed onward to Togos to purchase the longest-sized sandwich — a number nine (Pastrami)! Although the price was $22.72, the hot green peppers were good! The time stamp on the receipt was 11:33am, which really should have read 12:33pm!

  • Late night drive…

At 11:25pm, I heard the distinct sound to the boy’s Ford Mustang. I’m not imagining because my hearing has been trained classically over the years. And although I’m tone deaf, I know what is the sound of his car from other “under-cover” Mustangs driving around in and around our neighborhood.

Normally, the boy didn’t go out late at night when he was living at his OLD home for free and for messing up without care in the world. He didn’t hang out with friends back then and not unless he WANTED something from them, like his best man, who has been a VERY “good boy” to his own mother, compared to this one I keep mentioning.

Now that this boy is indebted to paying his NEW home and is stuck with an unlikely of all manipulators, he gets to do whatever he wants. The manipulator doesn’t believe in forcing him to do whatever she wants and that works out fine with a equally stubborn “entity” who doesn’t force her do to what he wants.

Somehow, I would like to believe the Lord knows what is best. In this particular relationships, I would reconsider it a blessing but a curse for karma of breaking a commandment: “Honor thy Father and Mother.” Brouhaha!

  • Forked tongue in his ears…

Well, their bad relationship wasn’t anything recent. This has been an ongoing problem, where love is blind. I recall what a commentator said about “infil-traitors” marrying “rich guys” and thereby disrupting their thought processes through the manipulation of their emotions (down below, really) and ultimately dividing the unity of the OLD family and replacing it with a NEW family, who hate us just as much as we hate them, except the nice sister. The lesbian of that family can go to hell, too, as with the niece.

That is what the girl did — remove the boy from his family. And that is his his karma for dishonoring his parents, disobeying their wishes, refusing to listen to his OWN relatives and getting a good laugh by his friends, who are feeding him untruths. It’s too bad I will have had to play the “Dark Counselor” with a tongue of a worm. No one likes to hear the truth. Their relationship is doomed to fail — fighting before, during and after dating and even now as married couple and childless, too — a shame, really.

What’s the point of getting married with all the trouble that girl has caused? “I won’t make children for him if he continues to spend unwisely on himself”. ~She honestly admitted to me long ago. That’s a slap on Paw’s good name. Paw is really a sentimental guy and doesn’t want trouble. But since he is old and I am young, I’ll have to “step in” and finish the deed — my signature upon their marriage certificate — sham. No relatives, just the three of us and mostly her co-workers from the credit union and none of his friends.

She has gloated before when we scolded the boy during a yard work in the front of their home and when I told her the boy doesn’t care if he divorces her. She actually smiled at those two instances. It was a creepy feeling, mind you, to sit there and listen to her being so truthful but it was beyond control. She even complained to Maw that she earned more than the boy — another form of intimidation to a TI – Maw, who could have retorted: “That’s good for my boy, then!”

So whatever the girl whispered into his ears, whatever tooth and nail she feed into his stomach, and whatever “good hearts” she opened to him before marriage, the boy is a HENPECK! He is more than willing to let her get away with injustice. And he has a nerve to consider himself a fighter of justice. What a laugh! Surely, he has more balls, err, solid principles of family values than his hidden fear to let her know who she is (a snake) and why he allows her to manipulate EVERYONE. Perhaps the Lord knows it is for the best. Brouhaha!

On 09/15/2011 at 14:56pm, I sent the girl a text message that she can have the cake and eat it; that we will never call her again and that she was told to never come to this house again. Maw had cried that the dummy dumped the flower and card at the first/front door. That’s a sign of rudeness in our culture, disrespect to the old lady on her birthday and disregard to her in-laws/relatives. I don’t care if the nit-wit hates me. That’s for the record via my cellphone’s “Messaging.” We have learned empowerment from other people with nasty in-laws. We are normally peaceful people. Now that the old timers can’t fight back, I am “stepping-in”: Enough is enough.

On 09/15/2011 at 10:08am, we were stopped at the streetlight intersection of Montague Expressway. There were three black pigeons atop the street light ahead. My mind created a poetry:” We pigeon three | though small can fly | and sit on this electronic eye.” The Creator can move. Computers cannot.

On 09/15/2011 at 09:2am, I was thinking about how people are merely bio-participants in this large petri dish of life. My mind saw a lock of a basic shape. And a key came from my right field of vision and unlocked that catalyst of life. And thus forth came the bubbling therein. Like chemistry, the bath will have settled.

On 09/15/2011 at 09:20am, I recalled an incident long ago. I was waiting to check out my items and stood in line at a Seven Eleven store. In front of me, there was a family — three girls and an old man. They appeared to be either Middle Eastern or South Asian Indian.  They had finished their purchase or something, which I cannot remember. But I do remember clearly, the old man handed each girl some money from his wallet. Each time the “daughter” would say: “Thank you, Father!” That was mighty respectful.

On 09/14/2011 at 15:52pm, I told myself to remember taking a quick snap-shot of three poster boards: “Hillary for President – HillaryClinton.com” (Paid for by Hillary Clinton for President Exploratory Committee). We did attend that rally in downtown San Jose, CA and I had uploaded a short video of Hillary speeching into my YouTube.com account.

On 09/14/2011 at 15:46pm, I recall standing by our Magnovox stereo system, which was wooden all over and had a television in the middle with big speakers on either side. Two white men were selling “The International Library of Piano Music” (a 17-volume book edition). Maw was so excited that she bragged to these “black-suited” men that I knew how to read complicated notes. I had to stand in front of the accompaning vinyl record to listen and to follow the notes to a piano piece by Claude DebussyClair de lune from “Suite Bergamasque“. I was so embarrassed. But now I could play this song.

  • 20110912-Humor Time

“Lord, I don’t want to “die yet“! Please let me live longer until the ones I love no longer need me.” ~Maw aloud in the backseat.

Paw smiled and said: “Lord, I don’t want “to diet“!”

En route home bound after eating dinner at Apple Bee’s, Paw cracked a joke. We were on Trade Zone when Maw was talking about health. You see, Paw’s side happens to be VERY child-like in nature. But the in-laws (their spouses) are serious butt-pickers and that makes our calm demeanor rather unpleasant when confronted with “no fun”. Further, Paw’s side has a VERY creative mind. They would use ONE WORD  or groups of words and associate or create new words. Thus, they can misconstrue conversations to their favor, all the time.

  • Eat your own…

Earlier tonight, the girl sent text messages and wanted me to reply to hers when everyone got home for the cake that was bought.

Maw says: “Thank you for the cake. You can have your cake and eat it too!

Consider your health and any possible allergic reactions prior to purchasing and consuming food products.

  • Thoughtful greetings…

“[Son. Thank you for calling me and greeting me Happy Birthday. That is all I want: To remain in your loving thoughts. I love you no matter what happens. We are still family.]” ~Maw to moi today.

Note to self: It was with “ad nausea” but the truth from her heart. There was no need to buy Maw’s love with “hard gifts” of flowers, cards and food, of which the two can eat their own cake. She just wanted to be remembered by her son only, not her. Get it??? That’s all. And that short phone message from the boy was something she will cherish in her heart. Hehehe!

  • Exceptional protraits…

Yesterday evening, we heard the doorbell ring and then a series of knocks on our black-colored, iron-grilled door. We thought it was a late comer, an uninvited guest. Paw slowly answer the door and looked outdoors to see that the FedEx truck was parked in front of our house. My spider sense indicated that our family photographs were delivered in one big brown box, which the guy placed inside the garage.

“Thanks for choosing Olan Mills to capture this special moment in your family’s life. We know these distinctive portraits will be among your family’s most treasured possession and we guarantee your complete satisfaction with them.”

After a couple of hours this late afternoon, Paw and I completed the hanging of our portraits. Three large ones on the wall and two small oval ones displayed inside the selves of our bookcase. The largest one hangs over my Kimball piano. It shows the four of us. The two next largest one is handing side-by-side near the door. One shows the elderly couple and the other shows the children. The two smaller frames are the four and then the elderly couple.

We had taken the photos on July 19, 2011. That took around 53 days or just over six weeks of delivery. Truly, this will probably be the last family portrait the four of us will ever had taken professionally. The boy no longer calls or visits us after I clowned him over many messages via my cellphone. His relatives have already sent him messages over Facebook to make babies of which his sentiments to us is: “All you want is grandchildren.” In other words, that’s his way of telling us to go to hell and that he will enjoy himself without children. Thank you.

  • Shameful son…

This certain credit union has hired a refugee with broken English. She is currently a manager to oversee two persons under her.

Based on a wise one’s “sense” the girl went after the boy and married him. And by doing so she used MY NAMESAKE to work her way up the ladder.

She has been using the Americanized boy’s VERY good English and knowledge base on computer to help her do her “write-ups”, such as getting a Muslim fired.

Further, the wise one also “sensed” that the boy is after her wealth and doesn’t care what his family and relatives have to say about this foreigner.

He likes hanging around with his NEW Chinese family because he is ASHAMED of his OLD Filipino family whose lifestyle is too simple.

They don’t act rich, eat out at expensive restaurants, travel on vacations or shop for the lastest fashion.

  • Right again…

“Don’t worry about your parents. They are not “that” old.” ~Auntie Maldeath

“Are you going to take that from them? You don’t know how hard it is to pay a mortgage.” ~the boy.

“She should get a life and some friends. She get out of the house and socialize more often by herself.” ~the girl.

“You’ll be taken good cared of [without their help]. You’ll get your money back from TPTB and pals.” ~the fat bastard.

I can see how couples will defend themselves against us singles. Surely, we singles should realize how our very presence will disrupt the lifestyle of any couple. Until that time happens, I’m stuck happily ever after with these elderly couple.

  • Taking degree…

Normally, students are supposed to take and complete courses of higher education. This morning, the three of us ate breakfast at McDonald’s. We were sitting near three Ilocano women – Carmen, Tita and someone else whose name I forgot.

Then we six shared the horrors of ungrateful relatives living abroad in America and overseas in the Philippines. One recurring story is about sending money to relatives who will make up their horror stories, just to get money. And when and if these ingrates do receive their free hand-outs from the kindness of sponsors, they get angry and blame the providers of hard work as “kariput” (or cheap).

The joke went on to how these recipients would take the money in the hopes of getting a diploma and to becoming an M.D. (or a medical doctor). Unfortunately, the cash wasn’t used for going to school but instead it went towards a different form of education (e.g. an “M.D.” or a “marriage degree”). We know that deceit leads to children.
