“Live simply so that others may simply live.” – Gandhi

Free yourselves from money and simply live.
Show you’ve done your best and share what you earn.
See those selfish people who do not give
grow in karma from the ‘Law of Return‘.

Love others as your inner ‘God’ would love.
Love your ‘Self’ as does the one God of love.

Return Love and Light for your soul to grow.
Give of your ‘Being’ so others will see.
Earn nothing special so your love may show.
Live to be simple and know you are free.

    Love:
I love you; yet I love me,
    my freedom and being me.
We are one yet not complete.
    We are safe – inseparable.
What is love when we are two?
Is my love hidden from you?

    Hate:
I hate you and you hate me –
    Being different separates.
I love you as my own friend.
    We are united as one.
What is hate when I love you?
Am I more alike as you?

  • 20060715-Death Troughs

A twelfth poem to JB of Florida in response his sixth poem to me…

    Words of Life: (Strambotto Toscan)
I’d vow in our marriage, ‘Till death do us part.’
In your eyes of the deepest hue, I am lost.
I offer you happiness and my whole heart.
Fate! Guide my helping hands to his at all cost
and pray that our sacrifice will not depart.
With online connection at times, our paths crossed.
We have met to express our thoughts and feelings
when poems subscribe to romantic dealings.

    Kiss of Life: (Strambotto Siciliano)
I’d ask of you, ‘Press your soft lips against mine.’
In your arms of the warmest hug, I’m stolen.
Let us be merry and taste love’s sweetest wine
until our kindred births have fully swollen.
Oh! Come to me as allowed by the Divine
with praise unto your glorious shine, Amen!
My fate has been sealed and to Death, I resign.
I have never left you but will come again.

    Hope of Life: (Strambotto Romagnuolo)
I’d say to Death, ‘Don’t come knocking at my door!’
In your heart of the truest love, I have strayed.
Hurt of my love in this life time is no more!
I come back to you with feelings not betrayed.
Dear, I hear you are missing me to be near.
Come straight to me without fear as I wait here.
Our briefest time together online is fine.
Fulfilled expectation is when we combine.

  • 20060715-Nice Try

A poem from us single folks (like me) to those who have nowhere to turn…

    Back:
You love me! I know you love me!
Why can’t you see I need you back?
    I can’t afford a heart attack.
I’m begging you on bended knee.
Please let me in for one last time.
My love affair is not a crime.

    Again:
Why do you take me for a fool?
You cannot make me as your tool.
Over the years, we grew apart.
Once and for all, cease and desist.
Don’t come again. I must insist!
You didn’t have to break my heart.

First attempt at sextilla (with two poetic forms of reconciliatory efforts)…
    Compliments my poem entitled:

  • 20060715-So Long!

A poem from us single folks (like me) to those who think marriage is grand…

    Care:
You don’t care! I know you don’t care!
Why did you have that bad affair?
    I’m a jealous type. Can’t you see?
How could you hurt my heart this way?
I didn’t know your love would stray.
Please go away and let me be!
Let’s get divorced – to you, I dare!

    Understand:
Don’t you understand who I am?
    I need a love who won’t possess.
I need my freedom. I confess.
How could you be a hollow sham?
Please tell the truth and don’t you lie.
This is the time to say goodbye.
Being in love ain’t worth a damn!

First attempt at septilla (with two poetic forms of marriage problems)…

  • 20060714-No Lies

    There’s no need to lie
    or make our friends cry.
    You see
    we’d rather deny
    a simple good bye.
    If we
    are left high and dry,
    we’d scream a reply:
    We’re free!

    There’s no need to fear
    when true love is near.
    You know
    they seem to appear
    and bring us good cheer.
    They show
    us how to revere
    when life seems severe
    or low.

We can’t help you. You’re on your own.
There’s nothing left. Repay our loan!
    We relied on your guarantee.
The time has come to set us free!

    Payment has been long overdue.
Recourse may be for us to sue.
There may be a retainer’s fee.
The time has come to set us free!

We must believe you’re our friend.
We expect you’d hold up your end.
Our hope is for us to agree
The time has come to set us free!

When one’s good faith is based on trust,
true friends are not left in disgust.
Level with us so we can See
The time has come to set us free!

  • 20060714-Day Breaks

    [Fire]
    Flames
    burn
    brighter
    in our hearts
    no matter how far
or if we should depart at all.
Waiting for your glorious call – to stand up or fall.

    [Earth]
    The
    ground
    beneath
    us moves quite
    slowly to our grooves
as sun warms us right above.
Feeling vibes from your precious love like peace from a dove.

  • 20060713-Night Storms

    [Air]
    Wind
    blows
    around
    you and me.
    Together we stand
under the Bodhi tree at night.
Knowing full well what may be right – to love in plain sight.

    [Water]
    Rain
    falls
    upon
    our two forms
    My love is he, who
prepared to brave the storms with me.
Holding onto his golden key – to love and be free.

  • 20060713-Two Ways

    Warm:
    Burning desires
    of an unquenchable thirst.
    Fill me with your love.
    Satisfaction guaranteed.
    Blissful screams warmed with motion.

    Cool:
    Everlasting hugs
    of unconditional love.
    Wrap me in your arms.
    Calm reflections supersede.
    Peaceful fondness cooled like ocean.

  • 20060713-A Poem to Flynn

Here is poem i composed for you while on plane

    Lying besides you silently,
    Your lips pressed against mine
    The Aroma of tobacco,
    Intoxicating,
    Filling my nostrils.

    Your fingers playing,
    With my hair,
    And mine with yours,
    The warmth of your touch,
    Firing my emotions.

    Legs entangled,
    Arms encircled,
    Enticing, heavenly,
    We break free,
    happily.
