    Two flying geese thrill
Slowly to west side with skill
    Moist morning and chill
    Waning moon of white fulfill
    Medium blue skies still

    Lots of wispiness
    Light blue skies feathered caress
    Many days of tendril express
    Praying Mother to us Bless
    Golden Face relief no stress

Two more samples of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070313-Daily Diary

    Flynn:

    Left early for lunch
High noon with feeling poop punch
    Emergency hunch
    Relief on toilet bowl bunch
Parent bought egg rolls for lunch.

    Dental office fix
Paid one two five dollar ticks
    Souvenirs molds bricks
Soft pink putty to hard brown mix
    Night guard for TMJ clicks

    Happy with a cluck
Theft alarm hot – car stuck
    Time twenty no luck
    Called insurance then tow truck
Thirty minutes wait – a schmuck.

    Faith and People:

    Hark! David John Munoz!
Elder one ‘spoked’ deep blue eyes
    Santa’s white hair guise
Magic touch – God’s friendly guys
Sign of cross to clear blue skies

    Coffee money pour
    Happy smile rapport
    Garcia Senior.
Called for bad and good news bore
No more metal to the floor.

Five more poem of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070312-Red Airs

    Brown river flowing
    From one pint chocolate chug
    More than three flushes
Down the toilet with my hope
    Being stuck with these airheads

    I’m not excited
to learn of their engagements –
    Two happy airheads
Black sheep in love with themselves
    Don’t expect a big wedding.

    Potential mean aunt
    No such things as holidays
    Christmas or Easter
    For Buddhist philosophies
    Will deny their existence

    Projected anger
    Broom stick against parakeet
    For being horny
Calmed the little beast to rest
All is well for now I guess.

    A poem of four tankas.

  • 20070311-Fly Black

    Black fly on white wall
I bade it: ‘Leave – go away!’
    Eyes could not find fly.
Black fly sat on green pillow,
did not move and looked at me.

    My back scratching stick
    nudged the sleeping fly awake.
    Still fly did not move
    and was not ordinary.
Scared fly jumped on my right thumb.

    A poem of two tanka.

    Author’s note: Occurred around 08:55PM-09:00PM.

  • 20070311-Daily Diary

    20070306:
    My poop is real
and cannot be forced with deal
    until there’s a feel

    20070307:
    Emergency call
    Eleven-two-two crawl
    For a lie-censed fall

    20070308:
    What is up with that
    when someone says, ‘Crap?’
    It’s an utter trap.

    20070309:
    Satellite map of brown
with airport westward of the town
    by a three crossed crown.

    20070311:
    Morning
    Garlic cloves were chopped.
Browned in ‘ragging’ oil – it popped.
    Stored in glassware; – topped.

More wispy clouds – no breeze
Singing birds and blooming trees –
    Some trails gone with ease

    Afternoon
    Trace calls from spammers
    Twelve-two-two P.M slurs
    Dark ‘angers’ refers

    ‘Paw’ pulled the yard weeds
    ‘Maw’s hair cut; no handbag needs;
    Bargains on grown seeds

    Evening
    Washed with no soap bar
Removed dirt, oil, grime and tar
    Vacuumed my gray car

    ‘Maw’ repaired my jeans
by hand and sewing machines –
    waistline tight as teens.

Ten more haiku poems in monorhyme.

  • 20070311-Ode to Pie

    Ode to pie.

    Sigh
    Sweet food reply
    Cry
    Savory supply
All for one when we see eye to eye

    Dish bake
    Two-crust, one-crust: crossed rake
    Naming pies some fake
    Golden stake
    Sweeter kind is cake.

Vegetables or fruits, fish or meats
Chocolate, custards, creams, cheese, nuts, sweets
Bottom only crust – tart treats
Slices served or bite-sized party eats
    Well cooked heats

    Pastry
    Sugar free
Blind-baked no fillings – light, airy
    Butter puff glee
    Short, sweet, hot-water spree

    Dessert
    Clear the table alert
    Tooth decay flirt
    Tummy hurt
    Afters pert

‘Coffyn’ has more crust than willing.
    No pie-ing.
    Filling
    Eskimo or moon chilling
Cream or topped pie throwing thrilling

A poem of six stanzas in monorhyme based on the numerical value of π (pi) truncated to thirty (30) decimal places.

  • 20070310-Dream Journal

    20061122:
    Dreamt of a number
First may be one, five, oh, won
    or one, six, owe, one.

    20061125 and 20061129:
    Two cross formations
First four, large gold and white blobs
    Second small red blobs

    20070403:
    Dreamt twice five people
    Alicia or Alison
    Two to my left side
One in front. One to my right
    poured liquid into her cup.

    20070304:
    Two gray colored sites
    Zero on top, one below
    Flight from left to right

    20070306:
I had a dream one night
    About a winged flight
From zero to one – twice stopping at the right ledge:
    A man with outstretched hands
    by the bright yellow sands
on lower left of elliptic island’s pledge.

A poem of four haiku, one tanka and one patterned after Robert Burns.

  • 20070310-Daily Diary

    Morning:
    Nature
    More wispy white clouds
    Over our house and beyond
    Blue skies no trail mix

    Pets
    Five birds remaining
    Cool shower then hair dryer
    Warmed under the sun

    Afternoon:

    Nature
    Large, wispy white clouds
White trail bent to a bow
    Flight path towards south

    People
    Paw blowing the leaves
    Maw and her daughter eating
    Contentment supreme

    Evening:

    Nature
    Flying flocks of birds
    Thin wings over three dozen
    Wavy path to north

    Pods
    Unconcerned BratBoy’
    and gloating girl of airhead
    Thoughtless with no help

    Six more haiku poems.

  • 20070308-Rock Reckon

Yes, Peter rocks his world sometimes
by casting harsh stones at his soul
and taking bankers on a stroll

He rocks to the world through hard times.
    Noone understands him. He’s sad.
He hides his fear and laughs. He’s mad.

Many took the fall of bag primes.
    Nothing left but the inhumane.
They crown each other though insane

  • 20041207-Cease Fire

People of Earth: Stop your fighting!
    Laws of the land are in writing;
    Via an online petition
    By the Undersigned submission-
With the number Five Thirty Two

    American and allied forces:
    Stand-down Order does endorses.
    A legal and moral duty
Demand not to harm earth’s beauty.
Do not test the resolve of the crew.

    Demand for Judicial Proceedings
is to resolve in open hearings.
Repair the damage; right the wrongs
    Turn diplomacy into songs
towards peace as a new world view.

  • 20070304-An Eyeball

    Two of us are nothing.
    Our twin is not something.
Three stands between us where one twin resides.
    I am six within six;-
    with six within the mix.
We are the guardians to your left, right and insides.

    I am an Alpha Eye.
My Truth is not to lie.
My journey does not end with the sixth prime.
I am the Ying and Yang:-
Lone dove or with snake’s fang.
I owe nothing to no-one by stopping time.

    Poem patterned after Robert Burns.
