  • Parakeets budgies birds

What pets have you had? Describe them.

20221112-0045. Birds, mainly parakeets and budgerigars. Greens, pieds, blues, and Lutinos. We had some pairs make baby birds, too. Inside the nest boxes. We’d handled a few and they were tamed.

The current ones we have are two “blues”. One purplish female that’s getting fat from the turquoise male that’s getting skinny from over feeding her!

Both are free flight indoors but they only know the one room where their cage faces the southward back sliding door.

They would stand on the perches near the opening of their front door or sometimes sit upon the landing “platform” of the front door, too.

The back sliding door offers a view of our backyard where black cats poops, small birds taking baths in the bird bath, and Big Brother Crowd (as I would call them) drinking water from the bird bath, too.

In the past, I would handle or pet the birds more so than now. Since the recent pandemic, we pet owners must be much more vigilant and cleaner still for the sake of our beloved pets health and safety, too.

  • Same Love

After stepping out of my local parish this morning, my mind created again. As mentioned in my previous blog entry, gays have the right to marry and are entitled to the same benefits as heterosexual marriages.

Last night, Maw and I saw the sweetest form of affection. Both Bully-Boy and Buddy-Boy were grooming each other’s heads. You see, they are father and son, respectively. But for whatever reason, Bully, the turquoise colored one, has no clue that the Lutino (a completely yellow-colored parakeet or albino) is NOT the female known as YeYo, who is also a Lutino.

So while both are males, they do NOT have sex or even dry hump like the stupid homosexual humans, who take that same clueless love too far in the eyes of God. Humans have debased themselves BELOW (or LOWER) than animals, who know better than to have sex with the same gender!

Further, if these gays (or lesbians or whatever) truly love each other in a spiritual sense, they do NOT need to follow the propaganda behind homosexual marriage and the STATE laws and regulations to DICTATE or enforce the behavor of `free love`. Get it?

  • 20100823-Weathery Ways

Today was friggin’ hot! The strong winds blew hot air while I was walking for about an hour during lunchtime. The hot air warmed me during this morning and afternoon breaks because the air conditioner indoors was too cold!

Tonight is friggin’ warm! Maw said I smelled of sweat! Why is it that one cannot smell its own body odor? The parakeets have their cage covers on but only on the top. The three of us are watching Miss Universe. They are all beautiful but I keep thinking to myself: They still have to poop.

  • Cold Pimon

Pimon has been cold lately. He is currently resting at the bottom of the cage. I believe he is ready to pass on due to old age of eight years, DNA from parents we found from the wild and probably hormonal imbalance of a brown beak and liver problem as seen from bruises on his toes.

He is eating because his poop is a lot more this time. The other birds are playing and flying around while he sleeps with his head tucked into his fluffed up feathers. Without going to the vet, we have been administering the OxySilver in the hopes of his full recovery.

All we could do now is pray and boost. But I know he has to go because it’s time. Again people live in denial that life means living and living is full of life. Um. No. You’re wrong. The design of this earth plane is to die and to learn immortality for the few. The rest are not above the law.

  • OxySilver for Pimon

With the suggestion of Madam Mews, I just purchased a bottle of OxySilver (8oz) from an affliate for Pimon. He has been sick for years. We’ve tried anti-biotics (erythromycin) and vitamin/mineral liquid supplements from the pet stores. He still is strong for a parakeet who will be eight years old this coming September. But I needed something to `aid` his recovery – FAST!

Without going to the vet and as per my online research last night, he may have testicular cancer due to his brown cere. Plus, he has lamness on his left foot, an indicator of possible tumor of the kidney. He has been sleeping alot with his head tucked into his fluffy feathers.

As a result, the parakeets are going to be forced to eat PELLETS. Their diet of mostly seeds is notorious for `causing` illnesses in parakeets, such as cancer and tumors. I can hear them screaming in anger: “Where’s the real food?”
