As mentioned in very old blog entries, I hate nature shows. The photographers and cameramen would take photos and film nature in the process of “dying”. How can these “humans” be so stupid? Instead of covering the injured animal, they continue to film. I guess they were waiting for professionals to “rescue” this distressed dog, which probably waited for many hours. Unfortunately, these evil entities are selling out by not running to the aid of these two animals. They can burn in hell. I’m marking each one according to deed and not for profit. Even the Yakuza could have done better than these “journalists”.

It looks like the unemployment will continue in the long term and people, like me, will take any job and take a pay cut and any reduction in benefits.

Silicon Valley jobless rate rises in Jan.; employers make seasonal cuts

Silicon Valley’s jobless rate climbed in January from the month before as employers trimmed seasonal jobs, the state Employment Development Department reported today.

Nationwide, employers added 192,000 jobs and the unemployment rate dropped slightly to 8.9 percent.

San Jose officials Thursday announced a tentative deal in which city firefighters would agree to cut their pay and benefits 10 percent for the next two years to reduce the need for layoffs in the thinly staffed department.

Mayor Chuck Reed and the council have sought to help close a $105.4 million deficit in the budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1.

San Jose is facing its 10th straight year of red ink, despite cutting $565 million and 1,600 jobs over the last nine years, as employee costs — mostly for health care and pensions — have outpaced revenues.
