China warns U.S. debt-default idea is “playing with fire”

By Emily Kaiser – Wed Jun 8, 8:41 pm ET

“SINGAPORE (Reuters) – Republican lawmakers are “playing with fire” by contemplating even a brief debt default as a means to force deeper government spending cuts, an adviser to China’s central bank said on Wednesday.”

“If the United States cannot make interest payments on its debt, the Obama administration has warned of “catastrophic” consequences that could push the still-fragile economy back into recession.”

    —

Yeah, and they still won’t repay the principal. Interest is nothing, really.

Google says was rebuffed as partner by Facebook
    – 1 hr 38 mins ago

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – Google Inc tried to partner with Facebook but was rebuffed, denying the search giant to the social network’s trove of personal information, Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt said on Tuesday.

    —

Well, well, well. Looks like the well-paid “operatives” (i.e. the See-Aye-Hey) really want a fascist regime among the insignificant fools participating in social networking. Can you imaging the data base of Facebook being merged with the Google search engine? My god! I want to stop using my cellphone once and for all and just pen my thoughts on paper the hard way. Who knows? Maybe weblogging is next and maybe this site too will meet its fate with big brother and “privacy issues”, thanks to TPTB and pals and their extension of the “Patriot Act”.

WTF do you think I keep deactivating my Facebook account? Of course, I’ve left electronic trails for TPTB and pals to know who they are messing with.

    In recent news,

Family finds $45,000 in new home — then returns it
By CHI-CHI ZHANG, Associated Press – Thu May 19, 8:50 pm ET

SALT LAKE CITY – When Josh Ferrin closed on his family’s first home, he never thought he’d make the discovery of a lifetime — then give it back.

They stopped counting at $40,000, but estimated there was at least $5,000 more on the table.

Ferrin thought about how such a large sum of money could go a long way, pay bills, buy things he never thought he could afford.

After most of the money was counted, Ferrin called one of Bangerter’s sons with the news.

    —

As in the recent news article, finding that much money could have been easily spent by the family. But that was the test: To “spiritually” record how honest their genes and how good-hearted their souls. After all, taking money that doesn’t belong to them is like stealing. And stealing to feed the family is bad karma. Forget karma! What goes into the stomach of your loved ones must be through hard work, not by “free money that happens to grows on trees”.

So for whatever reason and despite my not meeting the “threshold”, I hope everyone learns that what goes around, comes around — maybe not now, maybe not me for perhaps later on and meant for others. Although I’ve been told that I would never get my money back by professional number two, I would like to believe that professional number one would keep his promises and guarantees.

This is the sort of story that should make headlines. I like news that mean something to me and to each generation: To show that people are not selfish but are indeed compassionate. And all the mysterious negativity coming from mainstream media is unwarranted but necessary to “test” the will of the people: To “observe” how they respond to situations that could have been favorable (or auspicious) to them.

  • Ephesians 2:8-10

    Ephesians 2 (Common English Bible)

8 You are saved by God’s grace because of your faith.[a] This salvation is God’s gift. It’s not something you possessed. 9 It’s not something you did that you can be proud of. 10 Instead, we are God’s accomplishment, created in Christ Jesus to do good things. God planned for these good things to be the way that we live our lives.

So two days ago, I had an early morning bowel movement. And usually, I’d like to keep myself company with some sort of reading material. That time was an old book: “The Children’s Living Bible”. I recalled asking Maw to buy that book for me. It was displayed near a check out stand long ago. My fingers riffed through the pages; my thumb opened up to a Biblical passage and my eyes read well.

    —

I got what I asked for. Yesterday, I had asked God: “Why am I still working at this “temp job from hell? Surely, there is someone who is in desperate need of a job than me!” And late last evening, the boss broke the news to the temp guy and me: We will be unemployed on April Fool’s Day. That shock saddened me but I was free! Free at last! Praise the Lord!

God knows that I’m not a good fit for the job. It was too boring and unchallengeable. And the location of my cubicle was so disruptive with noises coming from the lock clutch when employees and contractors alike swipe their badge to gain entry to the second level and from the noisy people who walk by my desk.

So that’s good timing for me at least because it’s a good thing as always and something good but not necessarily better will happen. Only “God” knows and my fellow blog readers, of course. So I’ll stop cursing the “back door” users once they pay back my kindness in CASH, of course. It’s only fair if they and their descendants don’t want to suffer eternal damnation!

  • Deuteronomy 14 and 15

While pooping early this morning, I grabbed my old “The Children’s Living Bible”. My fingers flipped through the pages and found two Biblical passages: Deuteronomy 14 and 15. It mentions what not to eat and why we should lend to poor folks, respectively.

In D14, we could eat cud-chewing beast with cloven hooves and sealife with fins and scales. That means NO pork and only fish, not shark fin soup, shrimps, clams, oysters, urchins, etc. We are NOT supposed to eat birds of prey or that which wades in the water. In other words, the meat should be sufficiently “muscular” and not from the likes of parakeets, bats, insects, bugs, spiders, anything that crawls, etc.

In D15, we are supposed to release debt and servants after seven years but continue to lend to the poor.

  • Bowing Homage

    “a deep bow of gratitude…”

    ~us boys on 02/01/2011…

    —
Since last night, I’ve been having bowel movements. And today, I had several more BMs from ingesting organic milk to wash down the Dove chocolate flavored coffee pack from Flavia yesterday and the other chocolates from the Legal Department at my “temp job from hell”.

And while struggling to poop the evil yellow corns and pals, I read an article from the January 2011 issue of my favorite “reading companion”. The article was titled “Make way for the wonderful! — What does it mean to give homage?”.

In the article, the author, Alice Camille, quoted from William Stafford:

“Little bunches of grass pretend they are bushes that never will bow.”

    —
The samples of her writing are VERY familiar and immediately I knew that I had to blog about my interpretations of people doing homage to others. For example, Obama has already bowed deeply to the Saudi King, to the Japanese Emperor and recently to the Chinese President.

In one of my response to Obama’s actions in an OPEN forum discussion board, I mentioned how Obama respects other cultures. Unlike Herod as cited in Alice’s article, Obama was willing to show his “submission” to the global leaders as a form of survival, not embarrassment to America.

After all, Obama is reflecting how Muslims bow in submission to “Allah”, who is everywhere and everyone. I also mentioned in the forum threads that “[Obama] knew his place well.”

As a leader of a great nation of this world, Obama knows how to show humility. And that in and of itself takes strength.

Matthew 5 — King James Version

5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

    —
With that said, I may happen to be one of a many lifelines for the boys but primarily for my poor relatives living in San Juan, Kalayaan, Laguna, Philippines.

(So if you see a baby blue house, that’s “our” house. My auntie Aida — the stroke victim — lives there. The relatives have nothing to do with “our” TANGIBLE ASSETS, in which the property title was legally drafted under the United States long ago and therefore by default belongs to moi, the fellow brothers and pals.)

Anyway, this morning during breakfast Maw mentioned that I might be the reincarnation of her mother, who died in October, which was two month before my birth in December. Maw said she noticed traits from her mother in me and how strong I am. I told Maw that I called her “anak” (which means “child” in Filipino) several times.

I tend to keep my promises to take care of “my family” and my poor relatives as would TPTB would keep their promises and guarantees unto moi. In the meantime, I too bow deeply to “crucifixed” Christ during mass almost every day. I wish one day that the Vatican would outlaw the display of inanimate objects in this manner.

  • Dirty Mud

Job 33 — King James Version

6 Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

    —
Genesis 2 — King James Version

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

    —
Yes, mud is dirty. Man is dirty and so is a dirty rat. There’s nothing wrong with being a vigilant citizen, who reports nefarious activities in spooks and bad behavior in monkeys that are hue-mens, who are sometimes labeled as “pigs”, which means they don’t take showers or clean up after themselves.

That’s what I do best: mock humanity and their evil ways. They are short of being god-like and hopeless as cavemen. Men-kind especially are useless, except by their simple “phallic” design of protecting the women (who are really the creative force to life) and hunting animals to death.

So while the mascule sun above energizes the feminine earth below; people are basically “earth-bound” to the laws of this planet, a ride worth taking but only for a few years until each afterlife. In the meantime, mudbaths are taken, cow pies are thrown and a good laugh can be had by rolling around in dirt, too.

1 Corinthians 13 (King James Version)

13And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Today, Maw and Paw sent Christmas presents to my maternal side of the family. Tonight, one maternal relative wanted greet his Lola, who didn’t want to speak. Paw ended up talking to the guy, who begged for help. Maw got pissed that this relative would dare to ask for a hand out, outright, by calling long distance.

I got pissed at Maw that she would even think that: It’s not nice to not “help” when someone is in need. She didn’t “earn” that wealth by refusing to send the beggar the taxpayer’s money.

“Your (late) Lola Valing may have been poor but she never begged for anything. She didn’t introduce us to her rich relatives in Lumbang.”

    ~Maw during tonight’s dinner.

  • Matthew 19:21

    Matthew 19 (King James Version)

21Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

At the age of 32, I gave everything I had ever owed – mainly money. Fast forward ten years, I do not foresee “hording” the same money that may never materialize because it was “too good to be true”. And although I’ve asked for it in return many times in the past and at this point in time, I’ve come to realize that I don’t really want it but would rather prefer to have the “blessing” filter back to its rightful owners – somehow, someway.

Tonight, Maw recanted many stories from her childhood. Her Paw “Juan” and her eldest brother “Arsenio” were well known in the small town as having helped many people from far and wide (and from the mountains, too) without repayment – from building water lines and houses for relatives to cross-training relatives and strangers alike on how to build, calculate and engineer and their making a business of selling self-threaded pipes for water projects.

I see now that I must start over, go forward and without looking back – to forgive and to forget. To Pete and TPTB, it’s okay. I’ve made my peace. You are free to enjoy and spend whatever you’ve managed to raise for whatever reasons. I’ll just continue as my ancestors once did – say, speak and hear no evil. We don’t complain. We don’t fight in public. It’s all about being there for each other in times of need. I only regret refusing to help a couple of times because I got laid-off from C!sc*. I know that is the truth. And as quoted for a Biblical passage in the beginning of this blog entry.

Of course, I’m not perfect (as my blog does descriptively portrays). The treasures were already within – my FRUSTRATED soul. I just didn’t acknowledge that existence and what was lacking in me was never diminished by outwardly giving but by today’s brightly shining sunshine. The afternoon was breath-taking as I spoke with the Securitas guard who asked me many times today: “How [was] I doing”? Bless him and everyone else for the kind greetings. I’ll have to learn to smile and greet more often in return.

  • Matthew 19:10

    Matthew 19:10

10His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to Flynn.

    Below are my rants:

It’s better to be single. Marriage is just another formality. While I despise the word usage of “skankster ho” from my “friendly” commentator, I believe in free-love. That’s right! It’s the cheating game or better yet a common-law marriage.

Communism and socialism are political systems that force incompatible parties together for the rest of their lives until death do they part. Do not impose. It will make people go crazy. I know. I’ve heard enough from tonight’s versions from two irreconcilable differences.

    —

    “We have nothing in common.”

~Boy about the girl at tonight’s table.

My dear boy: You are correct! That’s going to be a life-long commitment. Separate now and forever hold your peace.

    —

“The children puts a strain in [our] relationship.”

~Mike to moi last week or so…

“When your kids turn eighteen, just kick them out so that you and your significant other can be together in peace.”

    ~Moi to Mike right afterwards…

Am I callus? Yes! And I’m blunt, too. It’s reality, folks. Either you are ready and responsible enough to get married or your are not the type to be tied down or hung upside down. Again, certain personality traits are one of freedom, whereby security is just having a companion. That’s all. There’s no need to be an actor and continue to lie to me, to yourself or to others and live a miserable life with a dreadful company in denial.

    —

“I feel like I’m just living a life and not living.”

~Theresa to moi during this noontime lunch walk around the eBay area…

My dear girl: You need a vacation! Go get a room in a hotel for two days over the weekend. No phones, no contact with the family. Let the husband take care of the family.

  • Ephesians 6:10-20

    Ephesians 6:10-20

    The Armor of God

10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

    14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

    15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

    18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
