Talk to my hand and what do you see?
Many shapes and sizes just like me
    Middle finger longest
    Shortest thumb is strongest.
    Contemplate this little poetry.

Another limerick to show that everyone could be a ‘master’ at contemporary poetry.

    Cock-ca-roach, cock-ca-roach upside down
In our soup from ‘Kim Tar’ like a clown
    Elder Paw a-scooping.
    Elder Maw a-looking.
Dinner time, screaming crime meaty brown!

Another futile attempt at Limerick poem.

Take Eight, Thirteen at Twenty-two won
Find Nine next to Eleven then One
    Where God alive
    Within numbered Five
Thirteen before and after Four sun

Seven centered from bottom to top
With number Nine at the second stop
    With Three on one side
    And Nine right beside
With Five nearby as a godsend prop

Two futile samples at limerick poetry.

Tick-y tock! Tick-y tock! Up and down!
Shake your head, talking birds like a clown.
    See the mirror, sweetie.
    All of the time, cutie.
    Parakeets, pretty birds fly around.

    Another attempt at limerick.

  • 20060712-Fair Bares

Won’t you share in my holy glare?
Free my reins from the bridled mare.
                    How would you love me?
                    Do you hold the key?
Pace yourself and try not to swear.

Won’t you dare and play with my hair?
Spread my flair on velvety lair.
                    Come! And, set me free!
                    Love on bended knee.
Brace yourself and try not to stare.

Won’t you spare a moment so rare?
Bear my heirs in your loving care.
                    Live with blessed glee.
                    Spend on shopping spree.
Be yourself. I know you won’t scare.

Second attempt at limerick (with three natural progressions)…

Look for lots of ‘play on words’…

One hamster popped out from behind.
The three day fires were unkind.
    It burned for one week.
    The days seemed so bleak.
    Creamy delights helped to unwind.

    Second revision of limerick…
