  • 20150305-Prompt Me

    In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Imitation/Flattery.”

    I awoke from a dream and could barely recall the dreams. I don’t know if it’s worth blogging about a dream I could barely recall.

    Dream one

    In this dream, it was utopia. Everything about this place vibrated various intensifies of love. The gardens were beautiful but surprisingly there were no animals.

    There was no pain and suffering and nothing is wasted or goes to waste because everything is sustained by the Divine.

    People had eternity to learn just about anything. Some lived as if they lived on earth. There were still others who choose to return to earth.

    Dream two

    In this dream, those who choose to return to earth either retained their memories of being in utopia or NOT.

    This dream is horrible because people don’t realize that love is all that matters. People here hurt, maim, injure, and kill.

    This hellish planet looks beautiful but overall there is death and decay. But surprisingly nothing is wasted either and returns to its elements!

    Dream three

    In this dream, I was the queen of the place. The opposition was filled with terror, jealousy, anger, and hatred. And they wanted me to go away because I’d mess up their status quo.

    However, there are those who are willing to work with me and reach my personal goal of conquering and dividing. I wanted conformity and things to be done correctly.

    My sidekick is a jester. His name is Philip. He is my favorite among the hoards of misfits, who simply can’t get along with each other.

    Philip makes me laugh with his quirky behavior. He knows how to diffuse difficult personalities with his down to earth connection. I listen to his advice.

    Sometimes, we screw around with each other and my underlings have no idea we’re madly in love. He sings and dances for me sometimes.

    When we get tired of each other, we screw around with other subjects of the courts, including outsiders for fun.

    Then when we miss each other or get bored, everything is peachy as if nothing happened. And we simply find the time for a cup of coffee.

    One day, I’m hoping he’d take me for a spin in his black Z350. It’s got some shiny new wheels with five spokes!

    I’m dying to take a photo and upload it online. I’m trying out my my new hobby. It’s photography.

  • 20150213-2344-Aside

    Behold! I’ve tweeked my primary WordPress weblog site again! Below is a run-down of tonight’s ‘quickie’.

    • Reverted back to my paid upgrade theme: Opti! I just like the four bottom widgets and Theme Option for the front page.
    • Reverted back to the default colors of Opti but stole/borrowed the WordPress default colors of red, black, and blue because the automatic feature of matching colors to the header hurts the eyes. The lighter background always makes reading the darker text easier from a regular computer.
    • Retained my two favorite TypeKit fonts of ‘Bree’ for the header and ‘Arimo’ for the Body/Text. I just like a little ‘cursive’ feature somewhere in the text.

    I haven’t used the CSS because it’s more difficult to customize because of the sliding ‘right-column’. It’s distracting and annoying. In the past, I’ve successfully learned how to edit the appearance and layout of my weblog but was not completely satisfied because of the constant preview and little programming knowledge.

    For a short-time only, I’ve used the ‘Display WordPress Post’, which ‘Displays a list of recent posts from another WordPress.com or Jetpack-enabled blog.’ It’s a widget featuring blog content by a dream blogger, John Jr. From my laptop, five of his most recent posts lines up almost nicely with the bottom of the left column.

    Hi, John Jr! I’m on my mid-afternoon break, walking outdoors under the hot sun, and read your Dream 1 and saw a reference to me as Flynn! Interesting dream, but I don’t acknowledge having those sort of power or influence over dreams, etc. That’s for my “dream-self” to know. Hehe! 😉

    In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Fireside Chat.”

    That’s easy! I’d like a fire side chat with John Jr. He’s a dream blogger. Then there’s others online that don’t really interact with me but probably occasionally, like Mews, Dork, and maybe Yesa my only other cousin that seems to want a lot from us lately.

    Leather-wearing gang members, funny. As for being targeted, that’s NOT good. The last assassin could have staged his death and won’t have to worry about being killed for a failed attempt. Just saying.

    Definitely get a pea coat one size larger or loose enough to wear a thin sweater underneath. As for the color, it depends. If you want to go stealthy, stick to the darker color. If you’re a more flamboyant personality, go for the rainbow/colorful ones. As for you being a comrade, I guess you could trust your Russian friends. But then again and like you said: hope for the best/prepare for the worst.

    A library is supposed to be silence/without music. Again, you probably could control the outcomes of your dreams. I’ve read online articles which suggest that aliens/whoever hide in clouds. Again, you got toilet references. Maybe you’re drinking too much water prior to bedtime. Definitely stop arguing/fighting and work together.

    You seem to have the freewill and could control your dreams. I recall one dream in which I seem to control the outcomes. It’s too bad we don’t realize our freewill during the waking state.
