“Thus, while U.S. companies added some 288,000 jobs last month, three times as many people were dropped from the official unemployment statistics and are no longer counted in the labor pool.”
Two days ago or so, Dad wanted to know about the unemployment. I kept asking him the name of the governing agency and mentioned the word “index”. But he didn’t know/forgot. Then I did a general search online with the words of “unemployment” and “index”.
Anyway, I found what I was looking for: “Bureau of Labor Statistics”. I had a VERY DIFFICULT time trying to navigate the website. To the website designers of any website, please/please/please make navigation of POPULAR links easier to locate/read on smaller-sized smartphones!
The downloaded .pdf showed a drop of unemployment to 6.3%. That was published on May 2, 2014: So I think that was when I did my searches and downloads via my smartphone. Lo and behold, this Sunday morning and upon rising at 0700 am to hear Mom’s television blaring in the other room, there was a talk about unemployment and underemployment!
So as one of those “conspiratorial theorists” y’all keep clowning, this is another “evidence” that I will record on this/here/my blog: that my juicy/fruity material (sans chewing gum, which I’ve all but stopped swallowing after gagging on that piece over thirty years ago) is “testimony” to this truth. I’m an eyeball witness to my/this small world.
And y’all thought I was joking! Bah! Once again, this is one of many “doors” opened to me. All I’m requesting is for y’all to put out your questions/inquiries and allow me time to digest the info and then I’ll come back with some fictional/alternative “realities” for y’all to play around with until y’all turn blue, like Michael’s blueberries.
