  • Friendzone

A particularly aggravating metaphorical place, that people end up in when someone they are interested in only wants to be friends. It is impossible to get over someone while in the friendzone, because, as friends, you still see them too often for them to be erased from your memory, and yet, you cannot be with them the way you want.

    https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Friendzone

Welp, if that crushes can happen among doggoz, I wouldn’t be surprised if humanz experience that same friend-zone. Poor doggo got bitten by her crush! So sad!

That’s how I ended up with NO wrinkles, which equates to no headaches or heartaches!

I’ve been interested and had my crushes many times over with men. I’m NOT a ma’am! Though I am a hairy lot and that my energy signature might be male.

And for whatever reason, I’ve missed the opportunities to go beyond just simply the friendzone many times over. I do NOT know if it’s my fault or theirs. They simply stopped communications.

See? So if y’all find yourselves encountering unto moi and doing the same thing, I won’t be surprised or hurt. It is the way it is and it is allowed for whatever reason.

My last encounters with the male species was back in 2003. Back in 1987, that marked my first move into college and the experiences of bar hopping and dating.

Since then I’ve been blogging. That’s NOT much of an accomplishment though I wondered how my alternate reality would have turned out. Hmm.

    But I’m still hopeful. Whatever.

  • Scary, sick voice!!!

On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 10:38 AM, I received an “Auto-Forwarded voicemail message from (xxx) xxx-xxxx”. And the email showed a “Transcribed Message” that was rated “Good” (the fourth star out of five, five being “Excellent”) by me because they didn’t spell my name correctly, one word was incorrect and the rest drifted to incoherence.

This was partially because the caller didn’t sound the same! His voice was steady, deeper and scary! It sounded VERY congested as if he has a very bad cold in the sinuses. The pattern of his speech and word usage sounded like him. But I have a weird feeling it is NOT his usual “self”.

OMG! What’s going on? Is he really alive? What are you people pulling over my ear holes? Perhaps, he needs your boost/prayer because he has “special gifts”, which I sensed/knew/tested that we last saw each other in person many years ago.

Again, his professionalism will be noted (in my “Akashic Book/s of Life”) for returning a long-distant phone call by a friend. For the longest time I’ve known him, he has a lot on his shoulders. And I know people are giving him a hard time. But I have not “searched” his name online for a while to find out what is going on.

As for me, I still rely on his “scout’s honor”, “trustworthiness” and “fiduciary duty” to fulfill his promisese and guarantees, not just to me but others worldwide. After all, we taxpayers are really investors/corporations: as per an “android” (who is being “groomed” by the social media). So if TPTB and pals want to install the “android”, I give up.

  • 20111003-Sounds Popping

So to my right is a dresser drawer with a mirror. At 11:16pm and at 11:17pm, a cracking or popping sound was heard in that area to my right! Each time I would say: “Okay! Okay! I’ll sleep!” I guess it’s time for me to sleep because I’m really hurting on my right shoulder and the veins on my right forearm are hurting/popping out, too. I could feel some pain in my left hip joint and right one also. I ddin’t understand why I was feeling groggy. I guess that’s part of the “healing process”. Thank you. I’ll go to sleep now.

Flynn’s chicken notes with regards to a YouTube.com video:

THE LINCOLN & KENNEDY CONNECTION (by killuminatiAFF on July 22, 2010).

  • Nice Lunch

So Mike, Charissa, Hoan and I went out to eat lunch at the `Sourdough Eatery`. It was behind a credit union where I withdrew money for some gasoline money and the $6.99 lunch:

Item # 6. PASTRAMI, LEAN, MILD & TASTY

97% FAT FREE, NO MSG, NATURALLY SMOKED WITH HICKORY CHIPS AND WTH SWISS CHEESE. (INCLUDES COMPLIMENTARY SLICE OF PICKLE).

The place is nice and lucscious, full of life and of tall old trees and hanging plants. After finishing our sandwiches, telling about ourselves and cracking jokes at around 1:20pm, I touched the plants in greetings. They are so cool, comfortable and happy, too.

There is even an old Jalopy, a rusty old Ford T-model-like automobile sitting out in the back area. Inside the sandwhich shops are paintings waiting to be sold and other antiques.

The old VERY blond lady at the cash register looked out-dated, almost a throw back in hair, make-up and clothing of the traditional era of 1950’s housewives or the OK Corral. She’s been there for around 30 years.

  • 20100720-Weathery Ways

Today’s was much cooler. An overcast of gray clouds gave light showers after receiving the `Hostia` and leaving the parish. At around 8:22am, I was in my car and ready to go to work. This is the current arraignment as if I never left home – wake up, attend mass and go about business as usual. And as usual, I would work, then count the hours until lunchtime, which I been happily doing on my own and without the pusshead asking personal questions and go out for my thirty minute walk around the block.

I intercepted Theresa D. again and she talked about work, what’s going to do and about her brother who is one year my junior. The guy is a bum, not interested in socializing with his peers or going out to meet or date girls his age. Sorry, girlfriend! I’m not interested. If this former and current co-worker talks rapidly, giving me a headache in the process, how much more her brother? No thank you!

  • When I realized I was a grown-up, it had taken thirty years!

Topic # 26 – Prompted January 24, 2009: When did you realize you were an adult? Questions: Was it the credit card debt or the armpit hair? Maybe the AARP membership letters? (If you’re not there yet, how do you think you’ll know?)

    —

I realized that I was a grown-up when I stopped thinking like a spoiled brat. I operated like a child would — without a care in the world. I didn’t care that all my money went out the `back door`. I didn’t care that I was living free and clear under the roof of two blessed souls. (If it weren’t for them, I’d be homeless for sure). I didn’t care about being fools.

Now that my credit card debt would never be resolved thanks in part by TPTB, I had to take action. And that meant survival. In order to survive, I sought the legal remedy of financial freedom. That was one of many options exercised thus far. The others are more public by no means.

But that was step one. The second step was finding a job. And thanks to Lena, I’ve gotten a `prosperity` piece made with love, which is not `evol` but very functional indeed. For you see within a few weeks, my headhunter landed me a job within my home zipcode.

The travel one way is around twenty minutes. I could have eaten lunch at home but that would take out forty minutes on the road and only another twenty minutes to eat, wash and dry dishes, and wash up before returning to work.

I realized I was an adult thirty years too late! Seriously, I’ve told one co-worker, who was a former co-worker at Cisco, that I didn’t know how to take care of myself. I’ve always had someone to look over me and remind me how to life the right way.

Now, it’s my turn to learn from good role models — my parents. In turn, I too promise to lead a better life as an adult. An adult learns to settle and slow down and contemplate each action, word and deed. Being a adult is simple with a strong foundation and of course some common sense, which I’ve yet to improve.

  • Glad I kept the receipt

Topic #9: Name a bizarre gift you received. Who gave it to you? What was the occasion? Did you regift it?

I like to call this one “Fork”

To tell you the truth, I don’t know if I’ve received a bizarre gift in my life. The only gifts I could think of are normal, like cloths, shows and orgone from my family, relatives and friend during birthdays, Christmas and after `gifting` in return, of course. I would glady regift to anyone in need of orgone pieces.

Now, I remember, Eric R. gave me a hand-crafted `ring` made out of flatware! The ornate design had scrolls. It was too big on my ring finger but it fitted well on my thumb. I wore it on my graduation day from college and lost it later on. I never saw him again, too. Of course, I know he comes to the south bay once in a while.

  • This year, I’m thankful for

Topic # 4: Happy Thanksgiving. What are you most thankful for this year? Elaborate on your gratitude. Do you have a lot to be thankful for? Or are you more thankful the year’s almost over and you can start fresh in a few weeks?

Whole Foods Union Square turkey cupcake

I’m thankful for being alive! Without life, there is nothing.

Without money, too, there is no life either. It’s the way of this current lifetime — working hard just to put food on the table.

With home cooking done by Mom, I’m healthy and somewhat overweight. And to share my joy from eating well, I too am grateful for being able to feed those in the most need. Call it `food for thought`.

I’m thankful for my parents for giving me a home while being unemployed after leaving my job during the downturn of the economy. I cannot believe finding a descent-paying job would be so difficult.

As a result, my temporary job agency located a job nearby to my home. The position pays better than a data entry job and it is full-time (for forty hours a week) but only for six months.

With prosperity rising, I am thankful to get out of debt for a few more months. With hope, I wish to START OVER and forget about the past and look forward to better times.

  • Granny’s Eulogy

After consider the advice from the twosome while en route to the first of two viewings yesterday evening, I typed up this four-paged eulogy (Arial Black and 14 points) at work:

Thank you for coming family and friends: [To tell you the truth I had drafted so many versions. And with the support and love of my family, I kept the speech short and sweet, just like old granny, and from the heart].

    INTRODUCTION

Let me start out by introducing myself. I’m the oldest of twelve surviving grandchildren of my Lola. I was born to her second of eight children, a son by the name of R[…] (or simply Roger), who is married to my mother, Fely. I have a younger brother Roger Jr. by three years. He is the eldest male grandchild and third in line of the grandchildren. He is married to Lindsey his beloved wife. My name is F[…] S[…] B[…]. But I’m simply known as Lyn by my relatives.

    [brief pause here]

    STORY 1:

I remember Lola calling out to me in her tiny voice: “Lyn! Lyn!” She would give me her usual hugs and kisses by sniffing at my cheeks twice – [one on the right and one on the left]. I said to myself: “Alight! Lola loves me!” Alas, she would inquire without fail: “Where’s Junior my grandson? Is he in school? I want to give him a hug!” Right there, I felt she loved Junior, my brother more than me. But I simply smiled knowing that she love the both of us.

    [brief pause here]

    STORY 2:

I remember Lola showed her love for my immediate family by showering us with gifts of gold jewelry — necklaces, bracelets and rings. Lola, I will forever treasure your gifts of love. And tonight I wear those two pairs of rose-cut diamond earrings that you gave to me when I was a little girl.

    [brief pause here]

    STORY 3:

I remember Lola for her unique sense of humor. To show her appreciation of our gifts – clothes, cakes and cards on special occasions, such as Mother’s Day, Christmas and birthdays, she would smile up at us and show us what I would call a “fish face”. It involves an exaggerated version of a kiss, a pucker by bringing the two lips together that resembles a fish sucking in air. For those interested I’ve uploaded some photos of Lola’s funny face on my Facebook account.

    CONCLUSION

    [brief pause here]

But tonight, let us remember Lola for what she really is:

    • She was a dedicated wife who served Lolo Mac his daily coffe and food, helped put on his socks and shoes during his old age and stayed by his side during his brief stay at a local hospice until he died. That shows in and of itself a traditional Filipino marriage and pride in her man — through thick and thin — and until death.
    • She was a strong mother with all the love and care she show her eight adult children the best possible way she could while living in the Philippines and here in America.
    • She was above all as someone who loves each of us in her own special way.

Let us all remember Lola not only as a quiet and reserved person but as a loving human being.

[I was online browsing the Yahoo! news and came across a news article]: As Warren Buffet explained in an exclusive interview with Yahoo! News and Huffington Post:

“There is no power on earth like unconditional love.”

[From this billionaire we could learn something.] From this quote, we call could learn that it has nothing to do with money [but staying together as family, relatives and friends, learning to forgive each other while still alive and before death].

[brief pause here with crying voice]

May God keep you always, Lola. You will always remain in my heart and in my memory. I love you Lola. Rest in Peace.

    —

I was the first up. Three daughters, two sons and three other grandchildren gave their eulogy with my brother being the last to say sorry and promises to lead a better life.

  • After Food For Thoughts

After lunch, Theresa and I were talking. Her rapid speech and something about `whatever` she has been through tells me something is wrong. She mentioned something about don’t ask or pray for anything (even money) because God pretty much decides everyone’s fate.

For example, Jacklyn P. wanted the stock administrator job at our former employer but Dean M. already signed off for someone else, Carolyn T. Theresa D. was caught in the middle and ended up with the A/P clerk position instead.

Since Jacklyn was being greedy, it so happens that Theresa got a new job as stock administrator. So essentially, justice has been served for the better. So that’s how it is for everyone else.

I see it now. It used to be bad for me. But for whatever unknown purpose, it’s something that is supposed to have happened to strengthen each and everyone of us. One cannot avoid what is inevitable.

  • Lunch Outings

So yesterday from 1:00pm to 1:30pm, I walked around the eBay headquarters. I was using the black-colored Tote umbrella as a sun shield. It was moderately hot because Jenika P. asked if I went walking. I probably smelled to high heavens. Using an email print-out didn’t help cool my stink down. Haha!

Today for lunch, Theresa D. and I went to the Vietnamese Pho shop on the corner of Trimble and First Street (I think). The Starbucks coffee shop was around the bend.

She paid for my meal and coffee. That was nice of her considering I drove the both of us to the place.
