Hold up! Wait! OMG!
I’ve discovered how to tweak the block: header > Cover!
So I was wondering why my header cover looks “smokey”: I wanted the original colors to show!
I had to borrow/steal the WordPress colors: blue, gray, and orange.
I used the orange for my Site name: FlynnsPaws; the blue for the alternate Site tagline: Take a pause; and gray for the background!
On the right sidebar of the Appearance > editor (beta) and for whatever strange reason: I kept my focus ONLY on Overlay > Color!
But the smokey “overlay” would NOT go away! I wanted to see the full and vibrant colors of my header cover!
Then I peeled my stubborn eyeballs away from Overlay > Color and noticed something DIRECTLY below.
Lo and behold! I saw Opacity! That was the answer! The Opacity was originally set to 100 freaking percent! I did NOT want that!
So I used the slider button and turned the percentage all the way down to zero! Perfect! Now I love my header.
Oh, but prior to the discovery of Opacity, my eyeballs noticed Dimensions > Minimum height of cover! Voila!
I was wondering earlier a few minutes ago why my Cover Header image looked short and squat!
So naturally I manually entered 333 pixels for the Minimum height of cover. I-AM happy!
Now my header > Cover is HUGE – on the very top of the blog.
I could, however, design just the Front/Home page to be one HUGE image with a short quote and one link to click to make life easier.
But no! I must have the original delicacy of Latest Posts, Footer with credit to the WordPress host and other copyrighted stuff.
Yay! No more hassle or headache in tweaking CSS stylesheet codes, which I still have saved from many SLONG years ago.

Squee! I am STILL learning how to “design” a nice layout for my Front/Home page.
However, during the editing I have received the following annoying/offending error message:
So I’m wondering what is going on and clicked on the Exit Page button but ended up losing my design! I could NOT Wait.
Then something dawned upon my small mind! Something is wrong with the whole layout: I KNOW!
The Buddha head/my Site icon was above all else. And I found that quite annoying.
Below that avatar image was the Site name and Site Tagline, which probably will scare normal humanz away. Haha! Weaklings!
Then I fixed the Footer by selecting the prettiest pre-defined footer from the block, which contained default the Site name, Site tagline AND Social icons for the first column.
I made the second column external Blogroll links.
The third column was the default Search bar, which I forgot would have “helped” the spooky trolls find out whatever was going on in my blog!
Below that Search bar, I needed to include my Pages: Archives, Privacy Policy, Tags, and Testimonials.
If y’all ever read my OLD yeeted blogs here, I complained/whined about NOT really like the sidebars!
Lo and behold! I got blocks to help design these PAGES, which are static-just the way like it!
Oh, I further studied why my Header looked awful. I saw the List View for header contained a “Cover”.
From pre-defined samples of “Cover”, I noticed these where HUGE/Large images. Y’all know for portfolios found on more PROFESSIONAL sites.
So I thought to myself: Hey, I have an image in mind!
Why NOT combine another version of my header to include FlynnsPaws (the Site Name) and its alternate site “tag”: take a pause.
Meaning instead of ranting about controversial topics that might be propaganda (as I’ve learned just THIS month after twenty SLONG years of NOT knowing any better): we all should just stay calm, relax, and TAKE a freaking PAUSE, which rhymes with PAWS. Get it?
See? No? So sad. Okay.

I’ve been tweaking my Home page – both Header and Footer! The blocks helped tremendously!
I did NOT know how to use blocks until I took the TIME to follow the quick tour/tutorial located on the lower left had corner of the newbie’s Editor (beta) screen!
For the past few days, I did NOT like the appearance or layout my front/home page!
I’ve learned how to create Groups > Columns > Heading!

The footer is just the Paragraph and the copyrighted stuff.
But I-AM NOT completely satisfied with my version because I do NOT have the eyeballs of a true artist who know stuff about colors, fonts, and other layouts.
I noticed my site stats died. Good! That means y’all are spooky spooks!

On 20220501 my time or 20220502 THEIR time, I sent an email to the WP support about the mobile app.
THEY misunderstood my stuff, again! THEY must be kids or overseas!
I sent screenshots and THEY still do NOT understand that I KNEW about Post settings!
I wanted all the Post setting features when I share links NOT when I create a new post.
When I shared YouTube links, I can’t draft or manually craft excerpts (optional) or set featured images!
Do y’all hear what I-AM saying?
I have NO choice but to Publish AND then Edit post where I can manually craft excerpts (optional) or set featured images!
Why can’t y’all just lump all these features together so I don’t take ONE extra step called: Edit post.
I’m NOT gonna be happy blogger here on this platform if y’all do NOT fix it, fix it, fix it!
I updated the WordPress app for iOS and I still do NOT see any real changes. Why do I waste my time blogging and contributing if stuff is NOT fulfilled – to my liking?

Off-topic: a couple of days ago I watched over an hour long video by Rumble/STFN. He deleted the video.
He mentioned his experience in France and saw what might have been human trafficking, being beaten up, and dating which he shouldn’t have mentioned.
