  • Grim Gospel…

What I like about attending mass are the Biblical passages. Most don’t make sense and are down right bloody and violent.

In today’s Gospel, I would interpret the atmosphere being fried by the removal of the ozone layer (as per last night’s show on the History Channel about the end of the earth).

But I see the usual numerical values of 1/3 and 2/3, in which households/families are divided among themselves: I am not surprised because the boy prefers hanging around the Chinese than his Filipino heritage. Wow.

Anyway, here is the Biblical passage for reference.

    Luke 12:49-53

49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! 51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: 52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law

  • Still connected…

Although the turd and twit no longer visits ( PHYSICALLY) us old timers in our last leg of the journey, the turd and his OLD family are still connected in “thought”.  That twit is NO good. But because the boy chose that path, he still had the balls to leave the faulted relationship like his first cousins, Joh and Jerel.

After shopping for donuts at Kingberry Donuts and eggrolls, shrimp balls and baguettes at Kingberry Eggrolls, we went home.

Usually upon arrival, I would vacuum the parakeet feathers and seeds from their mat.  While vacuuming, I called out: “Mom!” I said aloud to myself and hopefully within ear shot that Jr. is coming to visit.

Sure enough I received a text message ay 9:22am from the vou that he is going to San Diego, CA for a wedding over the weekend on October 4.

Maw said she didn’t care: I see a reversal effect or mirror magic at work here. I said at least the twit has a job to support the turd and at least the turd has a house, which they MUST sell because it is too expensive for ever!

The point is to choose family over vices of fortune (which the twit wants) and fame (which the turd wants), just like what Sarah have done yesterday for her family. That’s a price any twosome must reconsider.

  • 20111005-Random Thoughts

Here are my recent notes as entered via the “Memo” app of my cellphone:

10/05/2011 12:36pm: A quick thunder storm sounded in the distance while I was typing out my random thoughts. Both windows upstairs were open and my hear aides were turned on and I heard a “cheap” version of someone running over a metal debris on a road. It was close enough.

10/05/2011 11:27am: During the “El Rushbeau” show, the story is spinning about Michael Jackson’s drug-induced state. He said he hated his family. I don’t blame MJ because his family are parasites because they don’t work and depend on him for money. So the alleged “dead guy” wouldn’t say something if it were not true. After all, travelers are parasites and leech off donations for their lifestyle.

10/05/2011 10:05am: Sure enought the old crone keep talking about my helping a family of five over four slong years and the sentiments that I have been scammed by people like him. A story of “Everyone Loves Raymond” opened up after I mentioned how Frank, the dad, would look up at Raymond during a fight with his wife Debra, and feign a quick nap by lowering his head quickly and closing his eyes on his favorite leather chair/seat in their house.

The story was about Raymond looking for a confessional booth and encountered the priest who told Ray that there is no more confession because the priest had enough of listening to the crap from people like Frank Barrone and maybe Marie, too. The priest absolve Raymond of his sins and told him if he wants to hate his parents or go to God. He chose to say sorry to his parents. I wonder if the turd and the twit would ever come to their senses. If not, they can go to hell.

10/05/2011 09:33am: I had another deja vu experience. I had removed my black bra and black girdle and placed those on the chair. Then I saw my meal of “pandisal” bread and utensils of fork and knife. Then I had an anxiety that something “bad” had happened/would have happened between Maw and me. She was washing at the sink and I looked up expecting something to happen. I walked away from the table and said somethings to keep positive.

10/05/2011 07:56am: During this morning’s mass, I had a thought. There is finite god traveling in an infinite universe. But he/she/it can and will die but chooses to creat a perpetual reality through rebirths — you and me.

10/05/2011 07:51am: During this morning’s mass, I had a thought. Men treat women like dirt. Men provide the/their seeds of life. Women are the dirt/soil that nourishes the seeds to life.

10/02/2011 12:32pm: I was watching a informercial on Aluma Wallet. I decided to research on this product and saw recent complains dated 10/01/2011 on a plastic piece that breaks off after four days. Aluminum is a soft metal. And it will bend.

10/01/2011 16:42pm: This is an old thought as entered in an old blog about my parents waiting for me to wake up. But I was an “alien” laying on a table and was about to wake up. But a female attendant to my left side said: “Oh, no you don’t!” And I was sedated/put under. I could see my parents waiting for me at the foot of my bed/table to the left side.

09/30/2011 16:53pm: I decided to see if I could pull up two links from the Mobile Site version but they didn’t work on a Full Site version: “?pages-list” and “?archives-list=1”. I wonder if we could have a nice “Mobile Site” friendly theme version to use here at WordPress.com on regular computer/Full Site.

09/30/2011 11:36am: Paw bought his poncho rain coat but was not satisfied. He didn’t think to keep those cheap items for Maw and me in case of emergency. That’s how greedy men operate — only out to refund what they don’t want without consideration of business absorbing the returns, too.

  • Phoneying Tags

Well, Maw just got off the phone with the Babbling for one hour. Earlier, Maw was talking to Bella. And Uncle Dead refused to speak with Paw:

“I don’t want to talk about it.”

So right there, based on the information gathered, Uncle Gigolo, Uncle Dead, Joh, the Macster and pals may have DEFRAUDED their elderly sister by not paying the refinanced loan to the now repossessed house.

Three choices are left for the old hag:

    • Nursing home.
    • Back to the Philippines with a maid.
    • Lawsuit.

It’s a classic case of elderly abuse – take their money, pension and Social Security. So that means the old hag will no longer hold her stupid parties in that stinky, smelly, dirty old house.

  • 20100823-Weathery Ways

Today was friggin’ hot! The strong winds blew hot air while I was walking for about an hour during lunchtime. The hot air warmed me during this morning and afternoon breaks because the air conditioner indoors was too cold!

Tonight is friggin’ warm! Maw said I smelled of sweat! Why is it that one cannot smell its own body odor? The parakeets have their cage covers on but only on the top. The three of us are watching Miss Universe. They are all beautiful but I keep thinking to myself: They still have to poop.

  • Lay Off

Yesterday, Maw told me that she had spoken to Luz a couple of weeks ago or so. Luz mentioned that her sister, the divorced nutball living next door to us, was laid-off from Outr#ach, a non-profit organization. That could mean a potential foreclosure of the house because the illegal ALIEN is a handyman and maybe he doesn’t earn enough to help pay for his gold-mine, a jackpot of free board and lodging by the nutball.

  • Same Air

Tonight I asked Maw if Vietnamese and Filipinos are the same. She said something profound:

“We all breathe the same air.”

Then I’m still watching the chatting so I could learn something such as:

“be more grounded and fixed and not let the winds of everything else affect me as strongly”.

So it is. Whatever is inhaled is either good air or fart. Like the wind blowing, one could buffer against it or be blown away.

  • OxySilver for Pimon

With the suggestion of Madam Mews, I just purchased a bottle of OxySilver (8oz) from an affliate for Pimon. He has been sick for years. We’ve tried anti-biotics (erythromycin) and vitamin/mineral liquid supplements from the pet stores. He still is strong for a parakeet who will be eight years old this coming September. But I needed something to `aid` his recovery – FAST!

Without going to the vet and as per my online research last night, he may have testicular cancer due to his brown cere. Plus, he has lamness on his left foot, an indicator of possible tumor of the kidney. He has been sleeping alot with his head tucked into his fluffy feathers.

As a result, the parakeets are going to be forced to eat PELLETS. Their diet of mostly seeds is notorious for `causing` illnesses in parakeets, such as cancer and tumors. I can hear them screaming in anger: “Where’s the real food?”

  • I’m turning into my parents

Topic #44: What traits of your parents are you inheriting? Are you happy about that, or did you resolve never to be like Dad or Mom?

I’m inheriting Dad’s traits. The saying goes that the oldest child will be most likely that of the father. Although Dad doesn’t have skin problems, his youngest brother have acne, just like me. I’ve got hard of hearing from his mother and poor eyesight, too. My jawline is especially broad and wide, just like Dad. And the projection of our voices can be LOUD and uncontrollable at times. We have a tendency to associate single words with many non-related ideas.

I’m also inheriting Mom’s traits. Although Mom is creative in drawing birds with a pencil, stitching embroidery of small leaf and flowery designs, sewing of clothes without using patterns, cooking without recipes, dancing gracefully and singing melodiously, I’ve got some of her facial features, roundness of face, smaller eyes, and sunny disposition. She doesn’t say bad worse but she does get emotional, which I usually get when watching sad movies. I see that I’ve got lots of patience from both parents but I’ve inherited the concern for Mom, just like she did when she was taking care of her mother.

  • When I realized I was a grown-up, it had taken thirty years!

Topic # 26 – Prompted January 24, 2009: When did you realize you were an adult? Questions: Was it the credit card debt or the armpit hair? Maybe the AARP membership letters? (If you’re not there yet, how do you think you’ll know?)

I realized that I was a grown-up when I stopped thinking like a spoiled brat. I operated like a child would — without a care in the world. I didn’t care that all my money went out the `back door`. I didn’t care that I was living free and clear under the roof of two blessed souls. (If it weren’t for them, I’d be homeless for sure). I didn’t care about being fools.

Now that my credit card debt would never be resolved thanks in part by TPTB, I had to take action. And that meant survival. In order to survive, I sought the legal remedy of financial freedom. That was one of many options exercised thus far. The others are more public by no means.

But that was step one. The second step was finding a job. And thanks to Lena, I’ve gotten a `prosperity` piece made with love, which is not `evol` but very functional indeed. For you see within a few weeks, my headhunter landed me a job within my home zipcode.

The travel one way is around twenty minutes. I could have eaten lunch at home but that would take out forty minutes on the road and only another twenty minutes to eat, wash and dry dishes, and wash up before returning to work.

I realized I was an adult thirty years too late! Seriously, I’ve told one co-worker, who was a former co-worker at Cisco, that I didn’t know how to take care of myself. I’ve always had someone to look over me and remind me how to life the right way.

Now, it’s my turn to learn from good role models — my parents. In turn, I too promise to lead a better life as an adult. An adult learns to settle and slow down and contemplate each action, word and deed. Being a adult is simple with a strong foundation and of course some common sense, which I’ve yet to improve.

  • This year, I’m thankful for

Topic # 4: Happy Thanksgiving. What are you most thankful for this year? Elaborate on your gratitude. Do you have a lot to be thankful for? Or are you more thankful the year’s almost over and you can start fresh in a few weeks?

Whole Foods Union Square turkey cupcake

I’m thankful for being alive! Without life, there is nothing.

Without money, too, there is no life either. It’s the way of this current lifetime — working hard just to put food on the table.

With home cooking done by Mom, I’m healthy and somewhat overweight. And to share my joy from eating well, I too am grateful for being able to feed those in the most need. Call it `food for thought`.

I’m thankful for my parents for giving me a home while being unemployed after leaving my job during the downturn of the economy. I cannot believe finding a descent-paying job would be so difficult.

As a result, my temporary job agency located a job nearby to my home. The position pays better than a data entry job and it is full-time (for forty hours a week) but only for six months.

With prosperity rising, I am thankful to get out of debt for a few more months. With hope, I wish to START OVER and forget about the past and look forward to better times.

  • Good, Bad, Ugly

If you have a Facebook account, which of the three words would mostly closely describe who you really are within yourself and to others?

    • Good,
    • Bad, or
    • Ugly.

Last night Robert F@br!c@nt#, my fourth cousin living in Monterey, CA. wrote a disturbing personal message. In my whole life, he is the second person to tell me I’m UGLY in writing. It could have been spam. As per my an old blog entry, a white girl waiting in the orthodontist’s chair on my left told the assistant that I’m UGLY. That was during my early teenage years.

It was only recently that I’ve received a complimentary BEAUTIFUL from a long-distant friend, who was being kind. Meh! Maw is the only other kind-hearted person, who kept reminding me I’m BEAUTIFUL. One other cousin on Facebook told me I’m PRETTY but I felt the response wasn’t sincere. The rest are being dishonest.

By selecting any of the three words, I’ll offer my interpretations below.

    • Good. Let others be the judge of how `good` you are. You give yourself too much credit.
    • Bad. Let others know you are human. It only gets worse if you lie about your imperfections.
    • Ugly. Let others learn about the ugly truth. This last category exposes the worse in others.
