  • Greasy transportation…

Today, we received the following doorknob notice from the City of San Jose (Capital of Silicon Valley). Here is what it says:

    NOTICE

You may unintentionally be contributing to a backup of RAW SEWAGE IN YOUR HOME. While performing maintenance in your area, City crews noted the presence of grease in the sanitary (main) sewer that serves your neighborhood. Grease poured into a sink or flushed down a toilet hardens, greatly increasin the chances of blockages in the main.

To reduce the possibility of a grease-related blockage, and a backup into your home, follow these measures to properly dispose of cooking grease:

    • Find a suitable container in which to store the used grease.
    • Carefully pour the used grease into the container.
    • Once the container is full, or the grease has solidified, throw it out with the remainder of your trash.

Grease should not be poured down the drain.

If you have further questions regarding grease, please contact the Departement of transportion* at

    (408) 277-4373.

    A. That’s what you get for using the water system as a means of disposal. The earth is supposed to take of the compost, not the sewers.
    B. That’s what you get for using those water saving toilets. In recent news, the San Francisco area had problems in the raw sewage smell because people used less water when flushing the toilet. Thusly, the sewers do NOT get flushed properly without enough water!!!
    C. That’s what you get for letting homo-sapiens cook tasty, greasy food stuff, such as burgers and pork skins!!! Do you think these businesses use phosphate to clean their dirty dishes? The restaurants in my area are mostly ASIANS. Therefore, ding those business for messing up your sewer system!

Tip of the day: Get a nice bowl that has a smooth surface. Pour your damn grease into the bowl. Put the damn bowl into the FREEZER the night prior the pick up of trash the following day. Scrape off (or pop out) the frozen greasy stuff with a utensil and wipe your bowl clean with a paper towel. Place forzen greasy stuff into, say, your plastic sandwich bag or whatever and then toss bulky item into the garabage bin, not the recycling bin.

  • Caring for Your Street Trees

Currently, my online research brought me to “http://www.sanjoseca.gov/tree/Caring_for_Your_Street_Tree.asp”. The property owner with an adjacent plot is responsible for the care and maintenance of street trees.
    —
Also, I see “Species Diversity” is important as per the webpage “http://www.sanjoseca.gov/tree/trees_diversity.asp”. Which leads me to believe that like trees, multi-culturalism among people is important.
    —
Further, before removing your trees, it would be nice to find out if the BIGGER and TALLER ones have any historical values, such as the ones I found on this webpage “http://www.sanjoseca.gov/tree/trees_heritage.asp”.

I think I’ll have to call the city’s arborist to come over and determine the fate of the VERY old eucalyptus tree because it’s very difficult to keep the dried leaves, branches and twigs from entering our backyard. Maw likes the trees located near Lowe’s

At the same time, I was thinking also of removing Paw’s ugly slabs of cement so that I could beautify that piece of area. I know that those dumping at the base of the eucalyptus tree is telling us that it’s time to make changes to the environment.

  • 20110417-Donating Away

At 10:20am, the Site/Store: 16 – Milpitas (CA) took our donations. The employee handed me the yellow receipt with my “name” and “Items Donated (for donor’s use), along with white informational, which shows something useful to those with used computers, electronics, stereos, radios, telephones, wires, etc.

“DROP OFF YOUR RESIDENTIAL E-WASTE FREE OF CHARGE AT ANY OF OUR RETAIL STORES OR DONATION SITES.”

Goodwill (of Silicon Valley) is an “E-WASTE CERTIFIED COLLECTOR”.

Anyway, the employee put his initials of “ME” on my receipt! OMG! That “hint” reminds “me” of someone special. Meeee! They tall, strange, dark-skinned guy was wearing a maroon-colored shirt with Sydney, Australia as a logo where his “upper left” pocket would be located. Earlier, a “Seniora” had instructed us to kindly place our seven bags of junk and 2 boxes of RESELLABLE goodies near their premise. It’s okay as long as my formerly precious junk become someone else treasure.

  • Believe it or not, I haven’t seen ‘Avatar’

Topic # 175 : What movie do people give you a hard time for not having seen? Why haven’t you seen it? Do you plan to?

I’ve heard that this movie is a socialist propaganda for the unity of mankind and environmentalism. I don’t like animated characters and live actors mixed in together for a film of any sort. The catch here is that the `Avatar` people are just that – fictional characters. And here are more fictional characters played by actors trying to do these entities no justice. I may see the show later but only if it is televised for free. I am not about to fork over $30 dollars just for tickets and snacks!

  • 20091116-Get Advanage

At around noontime a black chap rang the door bell and sold me one bottle of Advanage™ Wonder Cleaner – The Natural, Powerful, Multipurpose Cleaner:

Lavender is ideal for people who want the lingering, calming scent of lavender in the home. With minimal effort, it is gentle enough for your finest fabrics yet strong enough to remove the most difficult stains.

I’ll test this `Natural, Non-Toxic, Biodegradable` product (which is `Now with Patented [that] Surfactant Instantly cuts through oils, grease and grime.) I hope it cleans up the soap scums, molds and mildew in the upstairs showers. Like any cleansing products, there is NO label listing the ingredients or secret proprietors special formula.

I was thinking, `Where’s the phosphorus, the real stuff the cleans yet pollutes the environment?` I heard over the airwaves months ago that some agents are selling in the black market these phosphorus-containing cleansing products. It’s because it works better than any chemicals out there!

  • 20090925-Be Plants

While thinking out loud, I recalled strays thoughts from the past. Here is a list of questions from my simple mind:

    • Why not be a plant – stationary and green?
    • Why not be satisfied being home bound, too?
    • Are we not plants wishing to travel and see the world?
    • Why seek to be an animal – hungry and hunting for its next meal?
    • Why not wait for nourishment and let the rains fall upon the soils?
    • When was the last time you visited a garden, hugged a tree, watched the birds bathe or the squirrels play?

This is how the world should have been – being plants all day and night and content under the sun.

  • 20090820-Saving Electricity

Use surge protector to save electricity from ‘live’ circuits of AT&T U-verse receivers AND TV. Placed orgone atop ‘Motorola’ logo. Less pollution too when off..

  • 20090730-Dirty Humans

People are dirty! All cultures are dirty! While walking from our home to Manang Candy’s house, I noticed the ugliness of our neighbor’s front yards, especially the Chinese and Vietnamese. One lawn has knee-high weeds EVERYWHERE, one looks yellow like hay and one has small red, lava rocks!

These types of people are uncaring to my standards. One can judge the appearance of the people residing inside the house by the looks of their lawns. Both the Chinese behind our backyard and the Filipino next to us have untidy backyards! Both houses have loud people inside and sounds of fighting constantly EVERYDAY, too!

When we arrived at the old lady’s house, four small toy dogs barked and sniffed to greet Maw and I. Tyler, a well manicured, white and gray Bichon Frise, came out and sniffed around; while another one with white and orange patterns followed suit and would jump on my left leg to sniff my hands. I actually talked to both of them inside the house and told them in a firm tone of voice to stop (per dog training shows on televised programming).

A third chocolate-colored dog was VERY overweight. I tried to telepathically tell it to start walking around to take off its weight. It barked and made almost human sounds in response to my conversation as I paid it too much attention. I had to stop. The fourth one kept quiet on the lap of the old fart while she chatted away with Maw. The three dogs are quite intelligent and behaved.

Unfortunately, I wanted to leave the place as soon as possible because it was filthy and full of boxes and other dusty displays and out-of-place items, like medical bandages on top of the refrigerator! It was an eyesore inside! The dog hairs were stuck on the rugs, too! The furniture does not match and everything inside does not have any style.

Mike, an old guy a decade or so the junior of his wife, Manang Candy, had a stroke. I kept asking the fool where the water dish of the dogs is after Tyler jumped on me and licked his nose in the attempt to drink the water in glass, which I brought from home. The idiot can’t think because of his stoke and forwarded the conversation to his white-haired broad.

What was especially pitiful were two parakeets in squalid living conditions. Their poop is still in on the bottom of the cage! The light blue older female clung to the back corner out of fear from the barking of the stupid dogs. The lighter green female was also fearful. I tried to talk to them telepathically but they were too terrified. They were stuck in the dark corner in the kitchen.

I hate people, seriously. Most of them are VERY dirty with lots of useless clutter and nick-knacks inside their drawers, cabinets, closet and garage, which really should be for the cars! People want to look cool and own cool things. But look at the way they live! How cool is that if their living conditions are like a pig sty?

This is another reason why TPTB should NOT give in to all the demands of these dirty humans. People are by nature slovenly and grossly polluting of the environment. I see it with my own eyes! I remember my own relatives leaving Styrofoam plates and cups up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere of the Philippines. It’s truly a sad sight to recall to this day.

Furthermore, Filipino houses stink with a distinct odor of sticky oil in the air, which is then transferred to hair and clothing. They eat lots of salty meat with sauces and dishes with lots of grease, which is where the flavor to their meals and ultimately sticks to their skins via the pores.

I cannot believe the amount of trash that people spew out each day. Both our green-colored recycling bin and gray-colored garbage bin are ALWAYS half full each week. Can you imagine the whole population with that stuff plus unknown crap accumulated indoors as keep sakes that would make a pack rat proud?

I’m disgusted with people, seriously. All this love and light and potential for spiritual ascension in mere HUMAN beings is NONSENSE. People are dirty, period. From resin to metal shavings and other pollutants, I would hope that they are gone from the face of this planet. Sorry: It’s true.

  • 20090626-Energy Bill

As expressed in my previous blog entries, I would have loved to have driven a hover craft, in the hope of eliminating the dependency on oil from foreign countries (such as Saudi Arabia), of increasing environmental awareness to stop polluting with smog from the tailpipes of outmoded GM products (such as those big black SUV as driven by wanna-be thugs, albeit spooks) and of getting somewhere quickly in case of emergency!

It would have been nice to take the public transportation via rail, water or air and at the same time meet homeless people, poor folks and sick ones coughing their SARS, Swine or whatever flu into my airspace.

However, my assessment on human behavior thus far has indicated that people like to do many things AND at any time of the day or night. Again, my analogy is akin to a closed system (such as a human body) in which the flow of commerce and business MUST continue 24/7 without curfew or government control or else meet its demise and ultimate death should the flow discontinue.

Well, I suppose Congress has passed that stupid energy bill at 1615PM! It’s really a symbolic expression of what could have happened if the legislation ever made it to the president. Tax is tax: bottom-line.

Again, y’all can keep your oil, your big cars and your carbon dioxide. It is the current technology, knowing full well that nuclear power pollutes and other alternative sources of energy MUST be further researched and assessed for cost-effective business endeavors.

Thank God the cows farting methane won’t have to be taxed. Can y’all imagine human-created legislation to control the free-will of naturally occurring bodily functions such as carbon dioxide and methane?

Sheesh! Stop reading too much into my blogs and THINK WELL! Listen to the wise words of the old souls BUT introduce the creativity of the youngsters!
