  • Never say: “Ladies, first”!

    20220928-1249. Life’s review per incoming thoughts.

    Long ago, there was a bunch of us temporary workers doing data entry. At the end of the day, only one temp worker was need to return back to work the following day.

    I blurted out: “Ladies, first”! To my left I saw the whitish guy took offense and blurted out: “You heard what she said! Ladies, first!”

    I recall that both had tears in their eyeballs. This was Galaxy Lxxxxxing near De Anza. The whitish client lady didn’t say anything. The both of us temp workers or whoever else remained didn’t say anything.

    I was embarrassed. Like I said, I’ve been getting my “life’s files” in bits and pieces for the past few day. Y’all know: like a history of one’s life flashing before the eyes of a dying person!

    Like I said, this and countless negative file are being presented for my review. I must be headed into death’s door obviously because I probably can’t take it anymore!

    All I could add constantly is our Catholic Sunday mass prayer of: Please forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls into heaven, especially those who are in the most need of thy mercy.”

    So I’ve learned that in America, there is the Constitutional – Bill of Rights to never discriminate against differences and to avoid mentioning the usual stuff related to gender and such.

    That’s why I refuse to volunteer or work in this sort of capacity with other humanz who really, really need some sort of income to put food on the table. At least my presence and stupidity won’t offend THEM, if I just simply stay-at-home!

  • Backdoor Wallflower

    After saying goodbye to a couple of people I know and waving goodbye to a couple of strangers who cared to look my way, I discovered my purpose here that the temp job from hell. I’m a wallflower to the backdoor!

    9. Wallflower

    Someone who chooses to observe, instead of experience life.

    They know a lot about people, what they are truthfully like, how they actually act when they think no one is paying attention.

    Since people have little interest in wallflowers, they usually know a lot about people. The good and the bad.

    Wallflowers are not mean, or impolite. They are usually pleasant, and respectful- just shy and/or introverted.

    Nontheless, people tend to use the word “wallflower” negatively. What a shame.

    Office lady

    An office lady, often abbreviated OL (Japanese: オーエル Ōeru), is a female office worker in Japan who performs generally pink collar tasks such as serving tea and secretarial or clerical work. Like many unmarried Japanese, OLs often live with their parents well into early adulthood. Office ladies are usually full-time permanent staff, although the jobs they do usually have little opportunity for promotion, and there is usually the tacit expectation that they leave their jobs once they get married.

    Often nicknamed shokuba no hana or “office flower”, these women suffered discrimination due to the M-Curve.

    So does that mean I’m pretty? Not in the least but rather plain looking. Must I wear make-up? Sure! Why not? I must learn to put on a happy face, too! Maybe I’ll put a flower or plant to liven up the place and start bringing in the donuts and bagels, too!

    Konichiwa! Ohaiyogozaimasu! Bai! Bai! Sayonara!

  • Temp Jobs

    Temporary jobs blow. I’m blowing steam not getting a job. One temp job is a data entry position and the head hunter wants a background check. I’m thinking: Screw you! Didn’t I sign up long ago with the head hunter and signed paperwork for a background check and now they want a duplication?

    But my family downstairs said it’s okay. The boy said it’s better to make sure the company is not hiring thugs, drug users, felons, etc. I’m thinking: Screw you! I think it’s more of a privacy issue. They are invading my privacy. Just give me a stupid job behind the computer and pay me accordingly. Background checks are for those who think my last name is Hispanic. This is racial profiling, really.

    As far as General McChrystal is concerned, he did the right thing. Although most people would think that he was being insubordinate, he wanted out due to the frustration of not being able to do the job (as hunter/killer) he was sent out to do because his boss, the president, was not `engaging enough`.

    Nope. Like all big companies, she gave me something that was weird and out of my `on-the-job-training`. I knew then that I couldn’t do my own thing without a micro-manager breathing down my neck at every small detail. I heard she wanted to get a lay-off package, which explained her behavior towards `her people` of temp helpers after I left that computerized job.

  • 20091120-Psycho Cows

    Have you ever wondered why women are not popular as leaders of nations? It’s because they are psychos and prone to hormonal imbalances! That would be very scary if a woman went off her rockers and decided to press the shiny red button of destruction, namely the nuclear arms.

    Single women, who have no children know the feelings EVERY month around their menses. They get irritable, uptight, cranky and sometime, like moi, verbally louder, almost as if screaming for no friggin’ apparent reason.

    Now take married women, who have birthed many children. Take that same group of women and size her up against the single group of women. There is a stark difference. The fatter cows tend to have fatter attitudes.

    They are bossier and nag more often, just to keep the peace in their family, if not for their own sanity, without having a meltdown. Speaking of meltdown, that imagery doesn’t look good when she blows up the whole world. Get it?

    Don’t deny that women still have some power behind the scenes, only the men have to hear their constant whining and complaining. But their women are wise. That is the catch 22: Damned either way! How would you like to have a woman lead the greatest nation on earth? Good luck, fools!

  • 20091013-Americans Better

    As mentioned in my previous blog entry, Luz came over to talk and like other Filipinos told the truth about cultural differences:

    • It’s better to marry other Filipinos because we understand ourselves (per Carolyn, one of my former Filipino `supervisors`).
    • If marrying outside our race, Americans are better because they are more appreciative. (Personally, I found this to be VERY `bar-none`, indeed.)
    • Marrying `other Asians` is not good: The Vietnamese are worse than Chinese.

    Wait until the Middle Eastern folks are introduced to the American society. They are going to be just as `bad`, if not `uglier`.

  • 20090921-Illegal Leaches

    Last night, Inday called Maw. The phone conversation reveals that ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, such as Asians (i.e. Chinese and Vietnamese), have been allowed to pay monthly rent of $300.00 for a six-bedroom dwelling. And these government-sponsored tenants, in turn, make a profit by housing other `interested tenants`, charging them for a stay ranging for a few days for a few months.

    These ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS get free food stamps, free transportation for their children, free transportation to wherever they want, free tuition (grants) for education, and other free amenities to stay on American soil while collecting on the backs of hard working, tax paying American citizens, who went through the legal system properly!

    We have a feeling the Twit is in her forties. We learned that these ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS would lie on their applications, stating that they are senior citizens AND collect on government subsistence, again paid for my the backs of American taxpayers.

    There are lots of younger Asians attending our local church for morning mass. They are dressed to kill – hair, clothing, makeup – and drive expensive cars! How? From what I described above! We wonder if they have REAL jobs and pay TAXES that really needs to be paid back to those who were once part of the American system.

    If I were Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA), I would further CUT these funds that allow FREE passage of these ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. It doesn’t matter what arrangement America made with China, Vietnam, etc.

    It pisses people like me to work so hard and NOT qualify for FREE hands from the same soil upon which I was borned and raised! AMERICA IS NOT ASIAN OR COMMUNIST! WAKE UP!

  • 20090914-New Influx

    This is how I see what has been happening. America is bankrupt, right? And American citizens don’t want to be taxed, right? How is the government supposed to pay for the mostly Socialized programs via the LEFTISTS without taxation and unfortunately sans representation?

    America has waged wars on many countries worldwide. Then in order to make amends to this `alleged` repatriation for the wore-torn counties and as an extension of an olive branch of peace, America conducts business with these countries.

    And guess what? From Japan to Vietnam, the influx of immigrants work honestly while some suck up welfare for free, courtesy of the taxpayers. Our local church has lots of Asians now. I can see this process occurring right now with oil-rich, Muslim nations, like Iran, Iraq and maybe Afghanistan.

    Soon our local church will be filled with converts from Muslim into Christianity. Watch and see the new program of VISA FRAUD under the guise of repatriation for those TERRORISTS held on military basis. I’ve heard over the airwaves this morning that each TERRORIST will get a military representative.

    What is really going on, eh?

  • 20090906-Culturally Important

    Listening to Rabbi David Lapin (1:00PM to 4:00PM) on our local radio station 560am-KSFO. Heard earlier that his father is a Jewish black man born on the continent of Africa! He points out that Jews value education. Asians also value education, which helps to create a smarter AND productive workforce of taxpayers.

    Per Brat, an old soul, blacks tend to not value education and hard-work. This explains why black kids predominately DROP OUT of school. It’s because the parents do NOT seem to instill the value of learning about surviving in today’s world.

    In my opinion and so if President Barack Obama thinks his friggin’ speech is going to MAKE kids STAY IN SCHOOL, it ain’t gonna happen. Why? It’s because, per the host of this afternoon’s talk show, the attention span of these malleable minds will be only be impressed for about 10 to 15 minutes.

    And guess what will happen after Obama speeches to a small population of bottom feeders?

    People will go back to their normal routine, their usual habit and daily activities of being mentally disenfranchised, lazy dead-beats who sit around in their front porch while drinking Jack Daniel and waiting for their next welfare checks!

    Who’s being prejudice now?

  • 20090831-Knowing Us

    Since I’m too Americanized to know the difference, I’ve learned a few things about my Filipino culture in the order in which I best received the information.

    Hanging Out

    While still attending community college in south San Jose, CA, I was talking with another Filipino. He mentioned to me something about Filipinos. Most don’t hang around with blacks.

    Each Other

    According to my cuz Ferdie, he said that Filipinos are among the MOST prejudice among each other in terms of dialects spoken.

    • Tagalog speaking are elitist and politicians.
    • Visayan speaking were formally maids and servants.
    • Ilocano speaking are very thrifty and eat lots of vegetables.
    • Cavites, Pagsaghinan, and others have other interesting mixes.

    All Filipinos love to show off.

    Politically Correct

    According to a parishioner, Poi said that Filipinos are mostly Republicans, which means most do not vote Democrat, unlike Paw who is a die-hard fan of Obama.

  • 20090828-Race Card

    Honestly, that’s all the black people have when things don’t go their way – their mostly widely used tool of the trade: discrimination! I’m sick of this race card (i.e. Diane Watson one of our Congressional representatives, Maxine Waters and pals)! That’s what the black people are good at doing – making their skin color the issue as do why they are being disenfranchised.

    These nut jobs are all the same. They cannot seem to get over the past and their stupid slavery mentality. It’s VERY pathetic. They don’t care about their country or the constitution. They organize their opposition against the rest of us MINORITIES, which are fast becoming the whites. Of course, you fools don’t hear anything from us Asians, Pacific Islanders, Native Indians, etc.

    Shameful bunch of freaks, morons! Maybe we should shut up and roll over like dogs for your likes. This is soft tyranny. This is a country founded on Judeo-Christians values, not Muslim, not Buddhism, etc. Whatever! Meh!

  • 20090827-Lunch Joke

    Yesterday, Brat decided to go bicycling for an hour from his work in north San Jose, CA to Fremont, CA and back. He came back to work all dripping wet, red hot in the face and smelly, of course, while carrying his ten year old bike inside his work place. A Thailand co-worker encounters him.

    Thailand, a foreigner: So, did you go biking?

    Americanized-Filipino: No, I went dancing!

    In America, the `proper` scenario should have went something like this:

    Thailand: Hey, Roger! How was the ride? You smell!

    Filipino: Great! As you can see, I’m in need of a shower. Sorry.
