    20241229-1909. The only truly LIVE events that did NOT come from the television were the earthquakes in California. Anything outside my locality, such as 9/11 – did NOT compute.

    We felt our local quakes but the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake was a big one that made history as the Cypress Street Viaduct bridge collapsed in Oakland, California, injuring and killing some people.

    What major historical events do you remember?

    I remember 9/11. I remember calling the main guy, the horse’s mouth, named PETE, who lives in Oahu, Hawaii, near Laie. For me that event symbolized the failure of investments and schemes by high-level spooks who package fear as a warning to the rest of the world. That’s all.
