After ‘Kali’ ranted and raved to her youngest and only surviving sibling with a microphone and while I supplemented the chatting online by typing with a cousin from Kalayaan, Philippines for almost 02:10:00 hours via Yahoo! Messenger, I thought to myself, ‘Hey! My jobless, homeless and loveless life here in San Jose, California (United States) is not so bad after all!’

With the microphone still attached to my computer, I couldn’t figure out what had happened earlier and why the microphone no longer transmitted sound from our end. I went to the ‘Playback Control’ panel via Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder and navigated to Options -> Properties. Then I checked everything under the ‘Playback’ and ‘Recording’ sections. I saw that the problem was the ‘Microphone’ was not checked for the ‘Playback’.

I wanted to record and save my audio files. Since I already have photos and videos elsewhere, I decided to purchase 20 credits for one ‘5 GB Space Upgrade‘. It was the only way I could upload music and video files. After that has been processed through my PayPal account, y’all could hear my voice finally! Below are ten samples of my voice as recorded by the Microsoft ® Playback control. Enjoy!

    1. help-me
    2. creepy-go-away
    3. meow-meow
    4. now-what
    5. piky-piky
    6. mew
    7. goodbye
    8. hello
    9. stop-it
    10. thank-you
