Thanks Great Spirits!
After my mid-morning break of walking outdoors and after using the toilet at work, I noticed one earring missing!
It was a gift from my late/paternal grandparents. The gold earrings (now dull from my chewing on the metal when I was a toddler) has a single spherical-shaped coral set inside the upside-down, five-petaled piece.
At 1737, I found the missing earring upstairs on the carpet, next to my orthopedic, Spenco-brand, black-colore shower slippers (almost exactly like the handsome dude’s footwear in a recent photo online), of my bedroom!
I was disappointed that I lost an heirloom today and looked for it during my mid-afternoon walk, retracing my steps up-and-down the dirty sidewalk, over a sloppy job of black asphalt and other fallen moss/spikey seed balls from trees.
I rationalized that the loss was symbolic to let go of my past ancestry, the connection to my grandparents’ love of their eldest granddaughter. I was praying to a special “saint” of lost items/causes. He rocks!
But now I’m at peace having found it. I thought that my foggy brain, lack of attention/focus, roughness in dressing/placing my Booney hat (Costco brand), somehow got dislodged. I noticed that the clasp wasn’t secure and I probably forgot about the security and just walked away.
