‘Puck, puck, puck’: doo dis, doo dat!
    Takot ba sa asawa?
    Gusto under di saya?

    Literal translation
    :
[Sounds of chicken]: do this, do that!
Are you afraid of your spouse?
    Like being under her skirt?

Second attempt at diona – a Filipino poetry of three-lined stanza, with seven syllables in monorhyme.

Author’s note: Discussed phrases associated with nagging in a marriage while walking around Milpitas, CA with Paw.

Did they leave old granny behind?
Because they think she lost her mind?
    Don’t wait until you die
Live to the fullest: not confined,
    Nor forgetful, deaf and blind!
    Better to laugh and cry!

First attempt at Rime Couée (of 8-8-6-8-8-6 syllables in aabaab rhyme) about old granny being stuck in the nursing home.
