  • 20070218-Sunday Time

    Morning:
    Get up and let’s go!
Should be right to pick up food;-
    Delivered on time.

    Brown trail on green grass-
A New Year delight to see:-
    ‘Onion’ scooped it up.

    Two fruits, two candies-
    Given by his other half:-
    Waved to his ‘in-laws.’

    Gray horse under trees-
    Brown gravel path or sidewalk-
    we went twice around.

    Afternoon:
    Warm golden honey-
    Fluffy, white cumulous clouds-
    From second floor view-

    Nothing in the way-
Freedom to leave or to stay:-
    Sun release us now.

    Dancing trees nearby-
    cool breeze through brown branches-
    It’s late afternoon.

  • 20070218-Un Us

We are not the ends to your means!
Some things are better than our genes.
You can’t undo what is not yours.
You can’t unite through tear or wars.

We cannot mock or laugh at you.
Flare ups are due to too much pooh!
There’s only one way to escape
by ending your expensive red tape.

Another poem of two, four-lined stanzas in eight syllables of aabb pattern.
