  • 20060903-Lazy Sunday

I awoke to a cloudy day. ‘Kali-Maw’ and I ate breakfast and ‘Shiva-Paw’ is finishing his meal. The current time is 09:39AM (Pacific Time) and I’ve briefly read articles online and decided to enter this small blog. There is hardly anything to do since everything has been organized after ‘Squirrel-Ling’ moved out of the house. Maybe I should use the vacuum cleaner upstairs. Nah!

Sunday should be for attending mass and visiting people, such as the nicer relatives and friends, afterwards. This day should be the ‘day of rest.’ I believe resting is for those who have done too much hard work. For those who cannot afford to take the seventh day of the week, they have my prayers.

In my opinion, working hard means to utilize one’s potential prior to becoming bedridden and useless to society. People who are wealthy and do nothing to serve humanity are at best considered lazy and useless to me. This includes producing any form of entertainment for profit and encouraging ‘beauty enhancing’ products (like blue eye shadows) and services (like plastic surgery) for the body for profit.

Visiting the homeless shelters, nursing homes, children’s hospitals, or orphanages; funding efforts to find cures for cancers, establish stronger education (so ALL people can read and write and know what is really going on and inside the planet) or cleaner and more fuel efficient technologies; or donating knowledgeable resources to help find missing persons, bring justice to innocent folks harmed by bad people or protecting whistleblowers ( ) from bad people would be better ways spent by these wealthy folks.

Okay, enough of my ramblings. As expressed in my previous blogs, life’s experience is the greatest lesson. I wouldn’t be throwing hints at you people via my blogs if my personal experiences lead me to believe that the nefariously, wrong odor would cross my path several times. If you want my honest opinion, I am observing how everyone treats each other. It’s that simple (me thinks). Carry-on and enjoy your ‘Sun’-day.

  • 20060903-Polygamist Plot

In recent news and around the JBR event, we now have the exposure of a polygamist who claims to be a prophet, a God on earth, if you will. He is supposed to be leader of a group and married to many wives. Once again, it is not nice to use the ‘Almighty’ in vain. I cannot believe the followers live under one person’s belief system and not know if there is something wrong.

Now, honestly, is ‘free-love’ or any form of love illegal by the standards of man-made laws of the land? If we truly share some DNA with the primates of the animal kingdom, for example, I see a similarity of one male having many females. But surely as evolved humans with ability of compassion and love, we should not have to take this group mentality of sharing each other to that extreme, especially when children are forced to do things against their will.

Personally, I am a jealous and possessive person. I believe in a ‘normal’ marriage of one husband and one wife. If I were to get married to my one husband, I would try to fight and keep him from straying too far from marrying multiple times. But out of ‘true’ love, I would have to let my beloved go and be free to choose his own path. In this case, I would file for a divorce immediately. Duh!

Sometimes the previous example would hurt, really. And I do not know any divorce person who has not been affected in some ways. It’s like any parent trying to enforce good behavior into their children only to realize that each child is different and may not always reciprocate the parents’ love as expected.

So anyone who would follow blindly and not listen to their own inner guidance is up for the challenge of letting people know what goes on behind closed doors. No one should be stuck in any religious organization that does not make sense to them or continue to live miserably in a playground of bullies that take lunch monies, for example, either. Phooey!

P.S. If I am opinionated, this is all me and much more. (Two finger snaps in the air!)

  • 20060903-Rescue Ruse

Everyone should be more responsible for any action, word or deed. Forgiving any wrong is possible but not always forgettable. When someone is in distress and in need of assistance, there should be at least one good ‘Samaritan’ to the rescue. But how many would be willing to go out into harm’s way?

Rescuers would risk the lost of their own lives to save another. If only the persons to be rescued take steps to avoid being out of the reach of their ‘angels’ arms, then there is no trouble at all. For example, in the news on televised cable, there was this person who ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere.

If she were more responsible, used the blessing of whatever ‘intelligence’ resides in the gray matter, which is the brain, within her thick skull to fill up her gas tank to full (and not half way) in the first place and notified at least one other close ‘person’ of her whereabouts, the location of this now missing person would not go unsolved. Perhaps, she is already dead but we should at least give the family, relatives and friends some hope that she will be fine and found, right?

This includes the hyper people who need the extra stimulus for their selfish fun in dangerous territories. For example, skiers or snowboarders should not go beyond the ‘safe and secure’ boundaries of the marked property. The potential injury sustained by the fun-seekers being in trouble; the rescuers helping out these people and family members enduring the whole ordeal would be avoided.

Sometimes the people whose jobs require them to be put into dangerous situations do not always have the help from the same people who put them there in the first place, for example. I cannot believe this thought has suddenly occurred in my beautiful mind as I compose this blog. But this inspirational example is a possibility and in the real world. I did not like this thought of how others could use their own kinds to carry out any deed to harm others.

I believe that we all need to think beyond ourselves and try to avoid the pitfalls of ego, which involves protecting out of want or need, avoiding fear factors or scare tactics, and feeling less alone. I think we all need to stop lying to each other and know that we affect each other in everyway no matter how small the event, especially destroying trust through deceptions of the mind and betrayals of the heart.
