  • FlynnsPawsMe is back online!

    20220930-2334. I’ve been getting email notifications that my website is burping. Currently, my tummy hurts and probably from eating a good supper.

    But that’s besides the point: I read the online documentation rather quickly and figured that my only other option was to revert back to “the more minimal, default […] theme”.

    So instead of showing excerpts, this current theme shows the full text in the front/home page feed instead of clicking “read more” and then viewing the full text in a “single-post” template.

    Since hardly any entity bothers to read my stuff, I’ve decided to present my amateur blog in DARK mode! That’s correct! The background is darker while the text and links are lighter!

    The theme colors are simple lighter green, darker green, black, white, grayish. So to make things simple and consistent, the background is black while the text is gray and links are lighter green.

    Voila! I almost lost my customized header and footer. Thank goodness I remembered to “save” each “group” as its own “reusable block” which renamed uniquely as “header-group-by-flynn” and “footer-group-by-flynn”.

    I made the mistake of deleting two of my original “Templates Parts” that were Added by [username]. So now the “Templates Parts” section shows my two new uniquely renamed customizations.

    I was going through each of the Templates to make sure the Footer and Header were consistently the same when for whatever reason I deleted the original customizations.

    Thank goodness I had several of the Templates already opened in separate window browsers where I could save the Footer and Header as its own reusable blocks.

    Whatever. I really should do a video or podcast as a practice walk-thru of how confusing and yet exciting Gutenberg blocks can be used creatively.

    I’ll be my own “video gal” like my favorite podcaster who is continuously plagued by his own “video guy” messing up stuff.

  • Finishing up after support call

    20220930-1305. So I’ve completed archiving my notes and screens for one phone bill AND my apple user experiences. Afterwards and whenever possible, I provide general feedback/suggestions and fill our surveys with neutral to excellent opinions.

    First I chatted to no end since we users are forced to read useless online documentations that has NOTHING to do with syncing issues with my devices.

    Second, I called but got disconnected by THEM.

    Third, I called and got to speak with a VERY nice guy from Kentucky, whose time zone seems to be similar to Chicago nearby when we did a walk-through for the Time Zone feature of my computer (but to no end, of course.) His accent, I like! I love it!

    Fourth, he allowed me to speak with a senior technical support whoever (but to no end, again); since the app synced all across the board! See? These spooky spooks are, well, professionals and patient; while I get to “test” THEM with my impatience as y’all have tested unto moi!

    But I have all the time in the world to learn to be patient – by slowing down my rapid speech, by eliminating the need to activate by entitled Karen, and by being clear and concise as I try to describe the process for THEIR documentation in case the stuff ever needs to be addressed and/or escalated to the developers or whoever else.

    In today’s exercise, I learned how to be a good customer service representative in return to the customer service representatives who really cannot help because the computers are already so advanced, it makes no sense to try to push my luck on something that shouldn’t be a “minor inconvenience” in the first place!

  • Disconnected phone call

    20220930-1109. So I was talking with whoever on the Apple support after chatting online via Get Support. I’m waiting to see if the chumps will call back. THEY wanted to Screen Share and that’s a big no-no because I told THEM that’s a security issue for me. Idiots.

    So what do I do? Call the idiots back? I know what I’m doing. All the devices are updated with the latest software. See? TPTB and pals are forcing us to pay lots of money for online nonsense.

    THEY try to cut our waters and electricity and then this morning I got a text message that one bill that is on automatic payment has NOT yet been paid. SO FUCK OFF LOSERS!

    Anyways, I better call the suckers back because I can tell this youngster does NOT know how to call back because the system confirmed with me the last four digits of my phone number.

    Hah! At least I know some customer service and technical support stuff. Nothing like play dumb and dumber for these youngsters. Hah!

    20220930-0628. So I had to search online for the definition of “familiar spirits”. And I learned that such stuff is detestable to GOD and practicing such stuff as divination and meditation are an abomination and must be avoided. Amen!

    This probably could explain why I’m constantly being zapped electronically to stay awake/wake up by some sort of “watcher” or familiar spirit as I would doze off to sleep while sitting upright in front of my computer.

    Whatever is happening no matter how much I say my prayers, my insinuations or rather imaginations seems to entertain too much increases or untreated or unsealed or unwanted visitations and the like.

    An audio? I could barely form coherent sentences or make sense with my brainwashed logic! Sheesh!

    Panic mode prayers. For some strange reason, I don’t seem to ask for help using the words as I feel that I’m NOT worthy.

    I don’t think or say: help me or save me. For whatever reason again, I think that’s selfish. Am I incorrect?

    My understanding or philosophy is that our shortcomings, obstacles, or whatever frustrates us is a deserving punishment while in flesh and blood form.

    These alleged bad luck or bad karma are once again meant to be harsh teachers sent to test us and burn us enough to understand that we are NOT worthy to stand in the presence of GOD, the Almighty, Our Heavenly Father.

    Do y’all understand? My Catholic prayers goes something like this: forgive us our sins and save us from the fires hell. Thank you Father for protecting us against the wickedness and shares of the Devils.

    Those are my prayers and on the “sang real” most holy and “sang real” divine of Yeshua, of course. For Jesus delivered us from mortal sins, but GOD yeets our spiritual sins.

  • Being zapped by demons. Nothing new.

    20220929-2302. I almost forgot on/about 0400 am two mornings ago, I could NOT sleep due to drinking three teaspoons of freshly brewed whole beans medium roasted coffee!

    That early morning I had already felt at least one bodily system shocks, like bugs stinging from hell! Our favorite messenger blogged about something Satanic.

    This message synchronizes with my favorite podcaster who said that once we go into spiritual battle we are gonna have to fight back.

    So I was lying slightly to my left side while watching YouTube videos, when I suddenly felt an electrical surge that was stronger.

    And then when I was still watching on my iPhone 13, outta the corner of my right eyeball, I saw on our popcorn ceiling a dark shadow quickly manifested but just as quickly disappeared.

    It appear like a long wisp really. So I extended my right palm at it and started to pray: rebuke, command, banish, and bind you demons and evils spirits to dry places deep below and on the name and blood of Yeshua I ask Yehua Bene Elohim Ou Heavenly Father to seal these portal here now forever and ever. Amen.

    I am MORE pissed off than ever. But what can I do but continue to thank and praise Our Heavenly Father for protection and to ask for guidance.

  • Updating copyright paragraph (again)!

    20220929-1722. I had to redo all my six sites and update the copyright paragraphs! Since one is now FlynnsAngels, the copyright had to include the wordings; while the five mirror site are tagged under FlynnsPaws.

    By the way, per my stats, I’ve gotten views from China, meaning that my identity under the “flynnspaws dot com domain is already registered” debacle is currently NOT yet released under China! I am in NO WAY associated or affiliated with that region or Singapore or Malaysia or Muslims or Asians!

    I’m American born and raised and proud of it, God-dammit! Oops, I meant, you damn idiots better NOT borrow or steal my amateur stuff!

  • Customizing Site Identity. Site Icon!

    20220929-1712. Oops! I forgot to remove/change Site Icon image to match my newly created/reused Original Logo Symbol!

    No wonder I could NOT see this site icon image on my Global Dashboard! So now whenever I switch My Sites I could see the difference site icons, one for FlynsAngels.com and a second one for the other four mirror sites.

    The system is SO smart that the triggers were already in place to prevent incorrect site identity for logos and/or icons.

    When I transferred out my domain from this blog host site back to its original host, the site name changed from “WordPress” to “wpcomstaging”. Per forum discussion, this is because the upgrade features is handled differently from free stuff.

    Whatever! That was an inconvenience unto moi and per other commenters to the forum discussions mentioned that they would prefer going back to the original site name “WordPress”.

    So now that I’ve purchased a new domain name, which seemed appropriate for my spiritual, religious, biblical theme, I’m happy.

  • Created new site logo. FlynnsAngels!

    20220929-1705. So what I did is reuse an “Original Logo Symbol” created on Fiverr.com back in 20220427-1515pm.

    This png file does NOT have the wordings: Flynn’sPaws Take a pause. Plus, the logo was facing to the left.

    Instead, this png file is left blank. And with my paid Photoshop 2022 app for macOS, I inserted the text: FlynnsAngels. The text is in white color, Bradley hand and bold fonts!

    Voila! Me smart!

  • Purchased new but OLD domain!

    20220929-1420. On/about 1413 pm my local time today, FlynnsAngels.com is now live!

    This weblog site is using the Blank Canvas theme by team Automattic. I’ve used this theme for my other OLD domain sites, which mirror contents for those interested in KJV Bible books and verses.

    A little backstory: FlynnsAngels.com was originally purchased on (per my archived emails) Date: Sun, 2 Apr 2006 14:48:40 -0700 (PDT) via Yahoo! Small Business/Yahoo! Web Hosting.

    I had pastel pinks and purples and used one of its default theme with the sunlight filtering downward through the top header. I may want to redesign the theme layout to reflect the new domain name but decided to keep the footer which lists some nice external links of interest.

    I tried to update that site but did NOT have direction. So I let that domain expire. But today I decided to resurrect it since my FlynnsPaws.me was originally meant for my countless alias emails and self-hosting site, which is using the current WordPress build 6.0.2.

  • New theme again. Tweaked!

    20220929-1339. Okay, I’ve been changing themes again. I wanted a VERY simple two to three column layout like Twatter but I need more color and larger fonts! So I’m trying Alara Version 1.3.8 by UXL Themes again. It has warm tones and vintage feels for photography, I guess.

    I didn’t know how to code Additional CSS because I couldn’t understand which elements to pull-up with the inspected “WP Blocks” view. I used to annoy the readers by changing my layouts: colors, fonts; column, whatever. But I was having fun because I didn’t have much to blog about.

    Yeah so, this theme is more workable, easy to edit and more stable than the OLD predecessors, such as Kubrick2 and the like. I activated and tried to customize Kubrick2 but did NOT know the CSS coding for the paragraph or line height. I still don’t know how to edit the “div” elements. Everything else looks normal.

    Maybe I’ll upload my choral videos here since my domain should last ten years! Yeah, I bought that much ahead of time at a discount! As long as the WordPress.org stuff is updated and the bugs are dealt with swiftly but surely, I’ll be okay with this self-hosted NON-PROFIT weblog site.
