Tuesday was nice. I actually awoke 04:30AM. I cannot imagine waking up that early knowing that I could fall asleep at my desk later on at work (which I did not too much) but felt I had enough energy to get in front of the computer to do some work. The time went until I left for work at around 07:30AM. The day went well also as I sat at my desk relaxing and wondering what will happen next after having the one on one talk with the boss.
My ride home was tolerable and I almost got stuck at this busy intersection. I went to the right and onto the middle land and managed to get the farthest right where I normally feel comfortable. Besides my exit was to the right and lead onto one scenic road and another both of trees from business parks. But before I got home, there were two police vehicles two my left.
I didn’t know they were there until I heard one jackboot turned on his speakers and told the pale driver with dark hair of a charcoal burned convertible to pull over to the right of the next intersection. A big paddy wagon scooted himself in front of me and I mentally flicked it off but gave a very sad smile. I was on the middle lane where I should be because my normal route is usually on the farthest right lane, which is only for carpooling. I stuck out my tongue not once but twice at the paddy wagon before exiting off to my drive along the road with trees.
Conversation was done by Maw and how she described her visit to the doctors today. She was to take her insulin shot tomorrow morning, eat breakfast and then take her Prednisone. I kept instructing her to be very calm because of the steroidal effects of this killer medication, which is the last resort for helping her recover from any respiratory ailment.
Dinner was taken, dishes were washed, garbage was taken out (by me), rosary was said and parakeets were tucked in for the night. Both bio-units were already relaxing downstairs and watching their cable programs of mostly sensational newsworthy material that has become boring and analytical than ever. There are two programs that are political comedy. And that shakes up the mind set of serious viewers.
I was upstairs blogging heard fast cars and police drive by. Prior to 10:00PM, I heard sounds of Brat and maybe Twit. I crept slowly upstairs to close the blinds and windows. And I sat still in my cushioned, plastic lawn chair for awhile and decided to continue blogging knowing that the twosome would not come upstairs uninvited. Then I heard the low rumbling of his Mustang zoom away and I went downstairs to see Maw with red eyes. Paw was fixing the busted switch of the night light for the parakeets.
She had been crying after the twosome left apparently after her claims of telepathically sending her inquiries of anger, resentments, betrayals and hurt to him. The twosome had mysteriously visited and Brat was reported to hug Maw.
They also brought over two sweet rice wrapped in banana leaves in the form of pyramids with three peanuts one the top. We women ate and unfortunately the stubborn bull did not join us in a symbolic snack of unity the twosome’s peace offering.
I told Maw that Brat will be fine. And although the twosome ‘makes their own rules’ and don’t always conform to the normal protocols of behaving properly in front of us, I assured her that they mean no harm whatsoever. Her thoughts (and maybe in the form of her personal prayers to <Ahem!> ‘God’) was to make sure that if Twit is meant for Brat, so be it.
We have already heard her prayers, dears. And my personal thoughts was for a Buddhist to stabilize the life and emotional state of this powerful Atlantean of no ill will. Twit happens to decorate her very bare yet clean house with lots of flowers (alive or inanimate) and to me that is acceptable. I won’t forget her proper ways of offering her salad with both hands to me and juice of pink lemonade from her refrigerator to an elder sister. This was during last Friday’s early dinner.
I believe blogging three days worth is enough for one evening. I have taken pictures of sylphs floating around our neighborhood this morning before leaving work and the clear blue skies with blue mistiness all around along with a favorable visit is more than auspicious. The day was a blessing, indeed.
