  • 20070512-Holy Mole – Eee!

    Pale face man appeared
    Thick bottle eye glasses peered
    Long, white wavy beard
Dark blue jacket and pants geared
White sneakers, not smelly but weird

    Communion holy
    Old man suddenly on knee
    Priest in front of me
Center aisle got up with glee
    Church people praying could see

Two strange samples of creepy tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070512-Life After?

Go to the light lone moth in flight!
Shiny and bright all pure and white
    Being alright without a slight
Oh, blessed sight to one invite!

What a delight! Place of sprite.
    Greetings polite, playing soul wight
    Dancing excite, passions ignite
Loving full height, hugging so tight

Some thoughts not right, a tad bit trite
One cannot fight this urge of plight.
Maybe at night in dreams of fright
Bulb burning rite, heat takes a bite

‘Babel’ to cite, dead authors write
Lifetimes recite, pen in hand sleight
    Free from contrite, knowing despite
With second sight, love’s writ of right

A ‘life after dark’ poem of four stanzas with eight syllables in internal and end rhymes.

  • 20070512-Yummy Tummy

    Take a long good look:-
If you cook, you’re in my book!

Dare not brook or rook this schnook

Another tasty sample of gobbledygook tanka of monorhyme.

  • 20070511-At One

Do not be afraid of their spell
Red faces, false places like hell
    Dark, gray spaces sulphuric smell
    Anger and hate egos rebel.

To stomp at not knowing full well?
    Undefined infinity swell
    God is One eternally tell
Knowing all — too well, free-will fell

State of mind in physical shell
    Questions unanswered by outside cell
God seeks answers by inward dwell
‘Duh’ eyes of south bay flying belle

A poem of three serendipitous stanzas with eight syllables in monorhyme.

  • 20070511-Four! Gall

Kill a ball with an iron stick?
Light my candle of angered wick!
    Wrong person to foolishly pick
    Government agents should not trick.

    Bad associations — my tick
From Pete and ‘JB’ to buck-teeth hick
Dare to play with my money! Quick!
Oil business import – export slick

Off with your heads, ‘ragging’ prick!
Stoning to your heads with my brick
Cook your goose well for my tongue lick
Lose your weight from girth so thick!

Fat ass bankers greedy to kick
Hand signals — middle fingers flick
    Our patience tired and sick
For pissing this high clearance chick!

Four dark stanzas of ‘Not a funny joke, Fat Ass!’ poem with eight syllables in monorhyme.

  • 20070510-Fully Being

Some God(s) exists in my small mind
and keeps changing to us remind.
    Follow Light with Darkness behind
or keep searching and maybe find.

Where stars and planets are defined
from lower to higher assigned —
    God is nothing until refined.
    We are nothing until combined.

    Unity keeps us all entwined
    until awakenings unwind
    from anthropic views that confined
while inside the box as designed.

    Our realities are combined
    with various truths intertwined.
    Intentions are good or maligned.
Some do nothing while others grind.

    Love vibrating, always be kind
    Fear believing, faithfully blind
    Hate decreasing, falling behind
    Water flowing, deepening bind

Five spatial stanzas with eight syllables in mindful monorhyme.

    The year of our Lord
Plus one and minus one scored

  • 20070506-Reaction Factors

    Dump energy grave
    No more horno microwave !
    Burn our food of crave
    Too busy or lazy slave
    Faster cooking to us save

    Break energy wall
    Install hovercrafts for all!
    Spraying planes will stall.
Three bucks per gallon gas fall.
Oil users slow to a crawl.

    Cool to own fried brain?
    Cellphone, ‘eye-pod’ cancer gain!
    Wired, ear-hole chain
    Program all minds to insane
    Flip the switch; energy drain!

    Mind-programming mode
    Internet shockwaves explode
    Music lovers’ code
    Movies, airtimes nonsense load
    Visual, audio node

    Mouthful to shirk
    Mercury fillings rework
    Fluoride toothpaste lurk
    Radiated X-rays jerk!
    Skull filled implants mental quirk

    Atomic fusion
    Radiation contusion
    Nature’s conclusion
    Nuclear blood transfusion
    Warp genetics intrusion

    Vaccination fears
    Mercury injections spears
    Autism appears!
    Neurotoxin death adheres
    Bio-pharmaceutical cheers

    Cosmetic beauty

    Liposuction bootie
    Prettier clones for booty
Souls slaved by gay pride fruity!

    Styrofoam taste — stinks!
    Aluminum flavored drinks
    Processed foods ad jinks
    As upside down burger blinks
    Fresh squeezed, organic picked thinks

    Cloning of nature
    Finding medical ill’s cure.
    Save many lives lure
    Seeds and feeds controlling poor
    Nothing left: unsure and pure.

Nine dark samples of polluting tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070506-Dream Journal

Indoor building — lots of air, echoing, brightly lit
I climbed up to a contraption up stairs.
The white walls and white contraption
    Recline legs up on contraption
    Swinging forward and back
    Exit to back carefully. Downwards

    Previous dream walking among similar
But familiar place of light outdoors
    Walking somewhere.

    A poem in free-verse.

  • 20070506-Daily Diary

    20070504-10:49PM
    Fluffy, oil free cheap
Clouds are no legs found on sheep.
    Into twilight sleep
    Sounds of howling earful beep
    Picking boogers nostril deep

    20070504-09:29PM
    Some to come home how
    No-where, some-where, here and now
    When pigs flying avow,
    Hell freezes over allow
Or songs by fat lady cow

    20070504-06:22PM
    A feeling before
To love me as a first score
    A forgotten lore
    Through subconscious blessed snore
    Dreaming always ever more

Three more poems of ‘Qui! It’s not me but we!’ tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070506-Daily Diary

    In the morning strain —
May first to fourth with some rain.
    Clear blue skies again —
    In the afternoon domain.
    Fluffy clouds and sylphs maintain.

    Stupid trails disdain:
May days of Sat and Sun pain —
    Few crisscross by planes.
    Sneezing boogers windy reign
    Sleepiness energy drain.

Two more weather-related poems of tanka in monorhyme.

  • 20070506-Dream Journal

    I saw myself viewing people.
From the back, inside this train.
    It was somewhat well lighted
With a window to my left.

    We were going somewhere fast.
And entered from right to left
And laid down in the middle
    Of clothes or materials.

Our heads were to the left side.
He was to my left hand side.
I was to his right hand side.
    Another person was there.

With my left elbow, I propped
    myself up and didn’t feel
    the bunched clothes underneath me.
    Later, after traveling

    there were people making noise
which was outside to the right.
Of the door where we came in.
    I found myself being placed

    Slowly inside the female
    And I opened my eyes
And looked around with her eyes.
I felt and saw the same man

Of black besides to my left.
He was trying to kiss me
    Several times and gently.
I refused to part my lips.

A poem of seven stanza with seven syllables in free-verse.

Author’s note: Interesting, eh? There are several more mini-dreams as vivid as this but forgotten upon rising from sleep. Most are not nightmares but traveling among places and meeting of people.
