  • 20070301-Soylent Night

    Drank glasses of milk
    and soy – a vegetable silk: –
    tasteless for my ilk.

    Flooding of the bloat
grumbles its way by a vote
    for toileted moat.

    Scratching itchy eyes
    and blowing running nose cries
    and blood pressure rise.

    Tightening of throat
ears and nose: – a mucous boat
    and victim of gloat.

    Uvula and mouth
    swelled like choking medulla:
    a dying hula.

    Histamine attacks
    what my immune system lacks
    Took pills to relax.

    Six haiku poems in monorhyme.

  • 20070301-Angered Rumblings

    Nature:

Felt quake at eight thirty tonight
per atomic clock to my right sight.
After three minutes later without fright
    heard copters above without sight
and felt the low flyby with might

    Family:

Did not feel all this much excite
    after hearing ‘Mar’s’ hothead ignite
    about religious icons’ right
at my ‘Onion’s’ house by invite
    and about my advising slight.

    Growing tired from the incite
    of miscommunications with fight
    and disregard for the polite
who perceive this life with bright light
and those things and folks that are alright,
    especially the white knight

A poem of two, five-lined stanzas and of one, six-lined stanza with eight syllables in monorhyme.

  • 20070301-Pink Evening

    Pink cherry blossoms
    bend closer whenever she comes
    with winds as eardrums.

    Pink and soft blue clouds
    hover in circular shrouds
    unnoticed by crowds.

    Pink colored fountains
    cascade purple on mountains
    good evening to friends.

    Three haiku poems in monorhyme.

  • 20060301-Flippant Observer

    Seekers of your Truth
    Compiling realities
    Sharing of your Love

    Rolled around in mud
    under the baking sun stud
    Cooled by watered flood

    Standing in the nude
With your Love and Truth as food
    Always in the mood

    Lovers competing
No time or crime for cheating
    Always repeating

    Among painful moans:
We won’t lay down for your loans
    or pay with our bones.

    Five more haiku poems.

  • 20070301-Disowned Daughter

    Death of a daughter
    in the mother unit’s mind
    Disowned forever

    A plot against her
    By child’s words of craziness
    Left broken hearted

    Silence is golden.
Not a word has been spoken
    Ignorance is bliss.

    The daughter is free.
By thoughts of the unit’s death
    Alive without her

    Four senryu poem of darks.
