  • 20060627-My Senses

    I see | blue skies | replace | people’s fears.
Two | cloud trails | in the distance disappear.

I hear | happy birds | sing | with joy.
My Mom’s | angry noises | no longer annoy.

I feel | cool breezes | blow | my hair.
The sunlight | warms | my freckled face.

I taste | freshly picked, | red | strawberry fruit.
The chemical | coats | my filled in root.

I smell | fragrant flowers | blossoming | in rows.
Brown | metallic smog | doesn’t congest my nose.

    I sense | a good and | greatness beyond.
More | loving people | need to better respond.

  • 20060627-A Poem to Flynn

since u came into my life,
i’ve looked forward to each sunrise,
    the early morning,
    with u in my arms,
the midnight skies with us beneath a zillion stars moves me.
u make feel like no one else.
i like the person i am when i’m thinking of u.
u bring out a part of me that i never knew existed,
a part that was born with our first kiss,
    u made me complete,
    now i have a reason to try;
    now i have a cause,
in all the wonderful things life has to offer.
u took my hand and drew me into the light,
and u saw in me all the qualities that no one else had ever noticed.
u gave me hope, inspiration, pride, and love.
yes, i love u, for all these seasons and for so much more.
i love u for being yourself
,and u i love u bcos of the person u made me..

  • 20060625-Ignore Them

Tune out the noise from all your five senses.
Replace bad thoughts and be forever clean.
Know your enemies for most are unseen.
Expose green creatures and their pretenses.
Guard well your heart with godly defenses.
Seek out friendly loves who do not demean.
Support your angels who are truly serene.
Show them your love and stop any offenses.

Learn to protect her each and everyday.
Feel rejection of her in-laws’ cold hearts.
Feel dejection as her small world departs.
Learn to forgive as the theme of today.
Do not go back to innocence so sweet.
Do not go forth to guilty and defeat.

  • 20060625-Among Us

This town is over five-hundred years old.
People shared, worked, played and no one deceived.
Old memories have stories yet untold.
Closeness is more related as perceived.
One uncle worked in the rice fields, a prey.
They said the soldiers took him far away.
World War the Second forced people to hide.
At night, the people went up the hillside.
They lived on the hills until the way was clear.
Caribou hauled baskets of kids inside.
Angels and saints do exist in our lives.

There was a long wooden bridge that would hold.
The heads were displayed as the whole town grieved.
There was sadness and mourning to behold.
People spat in disgust and were quite peeved.
The simple town was destroyed by the way.
The war ended on a September day.
Hill people came down as peace reigned worldwide.
The air seemed so quiet and void outside.
The people endured as they persevere.
Rebuilding was done where people reside.
Angels and saints do exist in our lives.

There were ancient statues of wood and gold.
People worshipped at the church and believed.
A major took the statues home to hold.
His house burned downed by the statues aggrieved.
A Holy statue sweated in display.
This milagro brought people in to pray.
Five children witnessed but were pushed aside.
Mom saw His Head and Heart sweat but denied.
The statues moved and soldiers left in fear.
The church was spared by the statues inside.
Angels and saints do exist in our lives.

A fresh, clear river once flowed uncontrolled.
A large Asian dam was not well received.
The low lying town would flood as foretold.
People drank, bathe, laundered and were relieved.
Fishermen used long canoe boats everyday.
Rice paddy fields grew along marshy bay.
A fiesta was held from far and wide.
A strange little girl was sleeping outside.
She pointed at the flood from coming near.
Monsoons and flooding occur but subside.
Angels and saints do exist in our lives.

Our Sierra lands are here to be sold.
Lands exist as tall coconut trees weaved.
Two sisters remain but are getting old.
My maternal side was all here conceived.
Grandpa Juan built this town: his survey.
Grandma Valing fed people: her bouquet.
Skilled at carpentry with small tools – he eyed.
Bargained at Chinese flea markets – she tried.
Their labor of love will always appear.
Both used innovative ways to provide.
Angels and saints do exist in our lives.

    ENVOIE
The town thrives with common folks who would say.
Their purpose is hard work and without pay.
The simple and meek have no need for pride.
The poor continue in unburdened stride.
Divine ways are inspired and sincere.
Examples of love are here as our guide.
Angels and saints do exist in our lives.

  • 20060624-June Beginning

A poem to JB of Florida and his ever ‘watchful’ eyes…

I have been acquainted with your bright Light.
I have answered the tune on winged grace.
I have walked beyond one dark, summer night.

I have read some hope written on your face.
I have met my ardent lover in June.
I wanted to thank you in an embrace.

I have cherished your poem before noon.
Each time we connect and without our fears,
We shall meet online or in person soon.

Your painful past will lead to no more tears.
The flowers you send are like blessed doves.
Together we will fly throughout the years.

I have been acquainted with your deep love.
Better days are beginning from above.

  • 20060624-Normal Nice

Chatting online is healthy and normal.
The topics are vast and quite informal.
People are known to be naughty or nice.
One dares not speak of the paranormal.

The hardest part is breaking the cold ice.
Revealing too much is the only price.
The chance of meeting in person is great.
Learning to love and laugh is my advice.

There are those who wish to look for mate.
There are failures while some meet their good fate.
Hard luck stories and happy ones exist.
The chatters online cannot seem to wait.

Some are lonely and desperately persist.
    Some are dishonest, futilely resist.
Some have nothing to hide and tell the truth.
Some are worthy and are meant to be kissed.

  • 20060624-A Poem to Flynn

    I love and adore u

I heard the music when true love called,
a song sent from heaven on silver wings.

    The whole world was dreaming,
    wisps of light streaming,
as the stars spilled their magic upon you and me.

The tune was more lovely than the nightingale’s song,
more delicate than a rose weeping,
yet as powerful as the sun leaping
to shed golden ribbons in herald of dawn.

And I bow down before you,
the one my eyes have longed to behold,
    my lonely heart pining,
    love Light shining,

I swear that I shall love and adore you.
