    Two months of blue skies
    Clear as the baby’s bottom
    Powder puffs of sylphs

    Friday through Monday
    Flushed cheeks stained my horizon
Baby’s blood by their spew planes

    Sweaty hot Tuesday
    Global warming hotter sun
    Dries dirty laundry

Three weather related poems of haiku. Mostly clear blue skies in the Bay Area with one rainy Wednesday since June 2007.

    Yesterday gray car
    Tall, slender yummy guy par
    Gorgeous brunette star

    Same corner, white van
    A city abatement scan
    Hidden by the clan

    Harley cycle loud
Noise pollution – fat man proud
    Old neighborly crowd

    Circles round again
    Four corners, rubber marks bane
    Territory vain

    People walking dogs
Sweats, jeans, T-shirts — walking togs
    Babies strolled by hogs

    A truck watcher — red
    Twice  eleven P.M. fled
    South – full speed ahead

Six haiku poems describing strange activities in my neighborhood.

    Little powder puff
Drifting in my line of vision

  • 20070401-Daily Diary

    Early morning rise
    Rubbed my groggy tired eyes
    Palm Sunday surprise
First time use per my advice
    Purple wheelchair with despise

    Rolling Maw along
    Defiant red cane stick strong
    Boring Gospel long
In the blue skies trails of wrong
Birds sounding their warm spring song

    Spit bad thoughts like pooh
Filter out what may be true
    Ate burritos two
Listened on how to make stew
    Couldn’t remember; no clue

    Beckon sleepy head
    Excused myself off to bed
    Four hour nap spread
    Four hours blog, poems read
    Downstairs again for late bread

    Pamper grown baby
    Wheelchair and the old lady
    Always slave not free
Do this and that or maybe
Stop my thoughts of sad banshee

    Patience of Old Paw
    Works as a lone gardener
    Quiet with no stir
    Bundled up in cotton fur
    Nothing to stop or deter

    1. Unknown day
    Hugged a dark-haired guy
    A philosophy teacher
    Among many rooms

    2. One day this week
    To his left a girl
A short one with long dark hair
    Walking hand in hand

    3. Following day this week
    Flipped my long dark hair
    Saw myself walking away
    Without any care

Three more samples of haiku poems.
