Chase no wooden stick
Stop the tricks that makes one sick.
Blow no candle wick.
Protect on a lick
Defend your chick with a kick
Practice on a brick
Two haiku poems in monorhyme.

Fire stabbing
hanging from upper left thigh
Zapped awake at night
Long islander hair
Dark and wavy like the night
Below my waistline
Hair is everywhere!
Shave, pluck, wax do me no good.
Female gorilla

Fluffy clouds of white
purple mountains of large whales
are cool as sea breeze.
Snow capped mountain tops
with cumulous ones as props
are cleansed by rain drops.

We are dead in your holy eyes
and believed in your plaintive cries
as we continue these playful lies.
You prefer the likes of cream pies
and the fluffy clouds in disguise
with no more trails left in the skies.
As you bid us your fond goodbyes,
you will forget our sad demise.
As your love for us slowly dies,
you will remember our supplies.
This paper tiger will surprise.
Fools are without discernment wise.

There is a bull dog with a pen
with one word he created men.
Some are neutral, evil and good.
All are one if we understood.
The feelers are the healing kinds
whose job is sharing all the signs.
They send out their minds and attract
support to those who may have lacked.
The bouncers are the testy ones
whose laws of the lands are their guns.
They hide in every location
with greed and other temptation.
The spirits are the middle class
whose purpose is the first and last.
They either exist to attract
or do not exist to retract.

My invested work
has been thrown in their faces
by this island jerk.
My patience wears thin
of embarrassing cases
by strangers of sin.
My credit card debt
is backed by the same people
who offer no threat.
My will to prevail
on tabernacle steeple
may land them in jail.
My time comes to spit
to those who would dare to say
‘Take it or leave it.’
May God forgive me
as my heavy heart would pray
to please set me free.

Skies of fluffiness
Cotton ball white with success
Worked well without stress
Dark skies everywhere
Pumpkin yellow streetlight glare
Moisture clouds with care

Lightest gray white skies
as seen through the twelfth floor view
did not shed their rains.
Late evening rains washed
cars on streets and birds in trees.
The air seems cleaner.

A gift of your seed
from the right hand of Father
has been well received
for the sake of our dear Mother.
Remember to love each other.

Constant ringing, high pitch sending.
Angles singing; sounds unending.
Always with me, your distant star.
Never leave me from here or far.
Never alone for one second:-
Never unknown. Won’t you beckon?
No matter what ball is falling.
Love ‘ER’ soon and quit the stalling.
Here come the heroes of her time
before her waking at the prime.
What’s done is dun and now complete.
It’s time for more between the sweets.

I looked up to the starry sky
and wondered was this all a lie
for dating this one special guy.
For a moment, the time draws nigh.
My happiness faded for awhile.
Above this half crescent moon smile-
a lone star was shining brightly
as the storm rain faded lightly.

Turn this skeleton key upside down.
Thy kingdom comes via the crown.
Pray from the beauty of the heart
and fill with love from you impart.
With voiced foundation, sing your praise
through a sacred name of Yah-Ways.
Test us not with your human lies.
Trespass not with your godly eyes.
By the six winged one flying,
be not afraid for complying.
