  • 20061027-Eyes Sleepy

    I felt tremendous sleepiness after 01:00PM while sitting at my desk at work today. This was after eating lunch of chicken in soy sauce. ‘Kali-Maw’ cooked this meal and I ate two chicken legs with lots of rice.

    I felt like wanted to close my eyes, which I did. And I think ‘Legg LaCigar’, the computer support who sits nearby, saw my eyes were sleepy. I was soon awake after drinking one can of sweetened iced tea and my third cup of coffee.

    ‘LeNaval RedEyes’ our supervisor has left at 02:00PM to pick up her daughter. ‘Fancy Soul’ and ‘Toad Soup’ left around 02:45PM to attend the fourth quarter meeting. ‘Feign Hurt’ and I soon followed. I was not in pain while walking to the place and with my heave black purse strapped across my shoulder.

    We sat there for a good one and one half hour from 03:00PM to 04:30PM. I talked with some strangers from the billing department and clapped my hands as needed. I noticed ‘Feign Hurt’ would yawn to signal me to shut up. As a result I would not attend her stupid party at home on December 8.

    I saw two of my pictures flashing across the screen – one alone and one with ‘Super EyeStar’, the founder of this company and the temp, who no longer works at this company. After all that has been done and said, I tried to eat and drink the food provided. But I left around 04:45PM.

    As I walked, I reviewed and listened to three new messages – two from my contact person and one from ‘LeNaval RedEyes’. I left my brief voicemail message to him and slowly walked with much heaviest from the bag and from sitting too long at the meeting.

    I am not sleepy now and probably had my fill from dinner tonight to keep me awake for a bit longer. I do not know how else to proceed. There is much to do.

  • 20061027-Weird Co-incidences

    Earlier I was playing around with my first name and came up with new poems.

    Then I heard the sound of my cellphone buzz to inform me of either an incoming call or, in this case, a voicemail message. The time was almost exactly received at 09:11PM! I listened to the voicemail message about one minute and heard the time stamp as 05:26PM.

    The message was a ‘thank you’ by my contact person and he said I could call him if needed. I definitely needed to call him because the time between the receipt of the voicemail message and him leaving one for me was a significant gap.

    And the fact that the time I heard the buzzing noise from my cellphone was 09:11PM was enough to convince me of synchronicity, or co-incidences. My feeling was that this was supposed to be no big deal. I think this is the final (or last straw) for the greatest thorn of my karma in this current lifetime of mine.

    I told him, ‘I’m not supposed to believe in co-incidences.’ And maybe he truly needed my help again this time. I asked him why ‘obstacles,’ if you will, would happen. He said he knew these would occur yesterday.

    I told him I do not feel comfortable. I had expected him to beg as before but this time he didn’t say much. He expected me to call him tomorrow but I knew I wouldn’t co-operate because there is really nothing to clear until next week. This is the bottom-line.
