Evening mass was greeted by an unexpected attendance by both Brat and Twit. As usual, Brat barraged us with questions for not receiving phone calls regarding the deceased parakeet, BooBoo. We have learned not to call Brat anymore because he doesn`t answer his phone. As a matter of fact, both were in Santa Cruz.
Twit didn`t know when to shut-up either and I may have rolled my eyeballs at her to stop her from talking since we were inside the church; sitting in the pews; and trying to worship the `Lord.` Twit looked pissed during the whole time but that`s too bad!
I suppose the Chinese bio-units in front of us had kids and their presence showed Twit she could have kids of her own by now if Brat stepped up and intended to marry her and if she were interested in becoming Catholics, too. I do not understand what a non-denominational wedding is.
In my opinion, she should have `respected` her culture in the first place and do her bio-units and herself a favor by dating, living and ultimately marrying someone of her own kind – similar language, religious background and Americanized interests. We rarely talk to each other and primarily because Brat refuses to allow interaction between Twit and us.
Brat blocked her view from me and I could not greet her`peace be with you`, which was said after the mass and outside the church instead. I believe he didn`t say the same to my bio-units. And this tells you right there how the relationship has soured.
The difference between her being Buddhist and we being Catholics are obvious. This in and of itself proves to me (at least for now) how we could never get along. Air-heads in love do belong to each other even if it means spending their own money on self-seeking pleasures.
I`ve learned that money (or lots of this illusion which is backed by gold standards that no longer exist in our Americanized vaults, for example) is not meant for all people and should not be considered a sin in the eyes of the`almighty`. The story of the gold touch by Midas in the evening sermon was preached by the very old and balding Filipino priest with white hair.
People worshiping the means for possession via materialism are slaves to this illusion. We were programmed as children to work hard for the money to the point of debt. To live without money means to loose the basic necessities of food, clothing and shelter. And this tightens the grip of debt especially to both the poor and middle class.
We are driven to be socially programmed to keep the peace (both at work and at home) by doing as we are told without putting up much of a fight. The silence is further exemplified by voting for whomever or whatever `propositions` would provide the `democracy` for hard working people. So why should we bother voting when the average person doesn`t have time to read or understand these data?
But we all know that the language or wordings on any voting or constitutional document made by these some folks would always change to suit the wealthy elite. The wealthy also are slaves to the system because in order to keep their bank accounts from being frozen, they too have to do their jobs by keeping silent or at least relay some half truths to keep the ignorant somewhat clueless.
The recent rash of celebrities or well-known folks are trying to present their versions of the truth by adopting poor babies, by donating billions to charitable organizations or by making noise with concerts for political reasons. But have you noticed that they are still rich because they are doing what everyone else wants – images of ego via material goods or intellectual services?
I believe the Americanized `government` is not democratic but more republics with federalism more than communism as the social ideal. That is why big-brother has mounted more cameras on almost every street, store and at work – to keep the troublemakers from causing too much noise. That is why identification is important for each Americanized `citizen` – to monitor the economic status of each hard working slave unit.
I am not slave unit nor are my co-workers! Why do you think I still work at `Ex-Ball`? This is because I have an ego driven by greed – brouhaha. I could be violent like others for want out of the need to possess better clothes, finer food or bigger houses. But I choose to keep the peace by being silence. My co-workers do not understand why I am such a fluffy b!tch because I could blow my whistle.
I too am programmed not to argue with upper management because the system at my current work has survived no matter how wrong the procedures or polices are perceived by me or by both internal and external auditors. This helps to keep the peace but at my expense. My frustration mounts as my declining health for working long hours in front of the computer daily.
I believe this is why certain individuals in our own government are silent because they too are aware that a higher system controls their actions and speeches. Maybe this could explain why our `elected` leader continues to barrage us with the war on terror or why some continue to have the likes of `folly` as co-workers.
I`m tired of these fear tactics and want to fight for the truth. Sorry, I`m off the tangent again. But basically, worshiping the money god or having the wealth meant for the elite are not all too bad as long as those in need have their fare share. Like Midas, one could loose humanity`s asset to understand with compassion by selling or leasing one`s soul.
But as the sermon mentioned, those who consider themselves Midas must share to those in need – those who are out of the current system of economic debt and an economic assets as a slaves. Sharing is by no means an ego by being an angle, a saint or a martyr but knowing that love knows no bound to those who truly hit rock bottom and not to those who only know good times.
P.S. For example, if something is too good to be true, be careful. This is especially true when wishing upon a star; hoping everything your heart desires will come true and being no different from the rest.
My experience indicates the following scenario: the hook is the promise and assurance for every possibility, the [very long] line is the eternity to the unknown and the sinker is to be the slave to the master.
Does this mean the various religious; socio-economic and political systems will never be the same? You bet! [ET phone home!]
